It had been 6 years since Dave heard from another soul after the the virus outbreak.
The days kept getting longer and the nights even longer. Very little food, no shelter. Dave decided to keep moving and try to find a sign of life. He stopped at his wife's grave to say goodbye one last time. They had been married for 11 years and got married right after college. Everything was fine until the outbreak 5 years later.then everything has been down hill since. His wife died the next year from the "flu" and Dave had been by himself for the next 6 years.
