"Hi," I stood up and smiled at him, as sweet as I could. I promised myself that I'd be as nice to him as possible even if it killed me.

"What are you doing here?" he asked suspiciously. My sugary sweet smile hadn't fooled him.

"I want to talk to you," I tried to sound as confident as I could, but my voice was really squeaky.

."I'm guessing you want to talk to me about this," he took out a lavender notebook from his navy blue Jansport backpack.

"You guessed right," I sputtered out and looked in horror at the lavender notebook.

"You know," he started and gave me a wicked smile.

"I read some of the parts in your diary and it was quite interesting."

"Have you ever heard of the phrase "invasion of privacy"?" I asked. My anger had flared up the moment he said he read "parts" of my diary.

I guessed that he probably read the whole thing.

"Have you ever heard of the phrase
"finders keepers"?" he looked at me and sat down on the desk beside me. That stupid smirk was still on his face.

"Just give it back!" I tried to grab it from him, but my chair was wobbly. It was like in movies, you know, slow motion. Quite suddenly, I found myself sitting on the floor and my butt hurt. Great. I just embarrassed myself in front of an enemy. Can this day be any worse?

"I'll do anything," I quickly stood up. I wanted to rub my butt but I didn't want to embarrass myself any further.

"You'll do anything?" he looked at me, still smirking. Jerk. Jerk. Jerk. Jerk. Jerk.

"Anything," I sat down on my desk and covered my face with my hands.

"Good," he tipped back his chair.

"Trisha humiliated me in front of the whole school by two timing me with Joey."

"So?" I asked, suddenly I felt a pang of pity for the guy.

"I can't let her get away with it," he slicked back his hair.

"I have to be the one who dumped her, not the other way around." I didn't say anything. I remembered what cops always say when they arrest you. Anything you say will and can be used against you.

"Before I'm able to dump her again, I'll need to get back together with her," Xander explained softly.

"So?" I asked again. I was curious. What was my role in his sinister plan of revenge? Or was it really revenge? Maybe he was still in love with Trisha after what she did to him. That was definitely a major possibility. His pride probably wouldn't let him.

"To get her back, I need to have a new girlfriend to make her jealous and make her come running back to me," Xander continued as if I hadn't said anything.

"So?" I asked for the third time. "So," he looked right at me.

"I need to someone to pretend to be that new girlfriend, meaning you."

"What?" I asked in disbelief. Pretend to be Xander Ho's girlfriend? Please. Not that. I nearly begged.

"Why me? You can have any girl in this school. Why me?"

"Don't flatter yourself by thinking I picked you from all this girls in this school," he looked at me up and down.

"I don't want an innocent girl to fall in love with me and get hurt. I'm sure you'll never fall in love with me, so there'll be no strings attached."

"How humble you are," I said sarcastically. I didn't want to lie to everyone. I was already lying to two people who were very important to me so I said,

"No, I won't do it." "No?" Xander leaned closer towards me and whispered,

"You know, I can show Andrew your diary later, or maybe even Mika."

"Fine!" I practically yelled. Blackmail. He was really good at it. "Great," he smiled at me. Not a single trace of guilt was on his face.

Fuck him! What a devil creature!
