norn9 fanfic: senri x reader

Chapter 1

*****general pov******

"No. I don't want to go."

Kakeru looked up at Senri with an amused expression. "Fine then...if you don't go to greet the new-commer, I guess you can juts help mikoto with all that extra gardening....And since Koharu is coming with us... I guess you'll be working with Mikoto all on your own...." Senri looked back up at kakeru with a worried expression.  They had recently found out, that one other new person will be joining there ship before they land at there designated destination. Unfortunately for Senri, this meant going to meet the new person, and having to leave the comfort of the ship. "Mikoto?". He paused, shuddering at the thought of having Mikoto order him round the gardens for 2 hours. -Sigh- "Whatever... I'll go..." Senri replied in an annoyed sleepy voice, looking out the window. 

*****meanwhile, your POV*****

CRASH! I shuddered as another tree fell behind me. I ran on, panting hard, as far as my legs could take me. The snowy blizzard continued to pierce my skin, the wind continued to whip against my ear, its constant howls like a threatening anthem. My stitches continued to stab my body with pain, but I knew I had worse problems to deal with.

And finally, I stopped.

In front of me, a faint misty clearing could be seen. I could make out the outline of the familiar rusted old roof lining and the plain wooden house. But right in the middle of it all, stood the  blood thirsty creatures. The blizzard continued to blind my eyes whilst the cold surrounded me. Slowly I looked up at the wolves and walked towards them. Once again these creatures were invading my space ...my home...my village. There inhospitable cold eyes stared back at my bright determined ones.  A moment of silence passed, before one of the wolves let out a growl and ran towards me.

I didn't hesitate for a moment. People had sometimes told me I was sly, deceiving, but also courages and smart. My body moved instinctively out the way of the wolf, before turning back and putting my hands in front of me.  A bright beam of light suddenly appeared between me and the wolves.  I turned around to run towards the house when I heard a sound behind me. One of the wolves had got through my light barrier. I stared at the wolf, frustrated that the barrier wasn't strong enough, but I remembered what my mum had said about controlling my power....And now wasn't the time to let my full power out.

I ran towards the wolf , now getting out my sniper gun which I kept in a sniper case slung over diagonally across my back. I paused for a minute as the wolf continued to run towards me, creating another light barrier around the wolf. Knowing it would't last for long, I fumbled with the contents of my sniper case, assembling the gun. The minute I had finally put in the bullets, the wolf was already running towards me again. Expertly, I shot the wolf, before moving in on the rest, whilst dodging there attacks.  I ran towards the house, finding the last two wolves leaping in to me. I dropped my gun and put my hands out protectively again in front of me. This time, I concentrated my eyes onto the shadows the wolves making. Again, I manipulated the element. Huge dark circle now  formed around the wolves. They howled in pain, as the dark circle now got enclosed in total darkness, before collapsing onto the ground. I sighed as I looked around me.

If only mum and dad were alive...I bet they would be so proud of how strong I've become. I turned around and started walking towards my house, wrapping my scarf around myself tighter as the blizzard continued. The wolves had started appearing more often recently....

I bent down to pack my sniper away in its case. 'My powers have also improved...I've grasped the concepts of controlling the elements of light and darkness .' I tightened the final buckle on the sniper case before turning around to face the blizzard once again.

'But one things for certain. My life can't stay like this forever. There has to be a change....'

SENRI IS BAEEEE! I just HAD to write a fanfic with Senri in it! Anyway, this chapter was just so you understood more about your character, and your power.  The gist is that you can control light and darkness- like shadows and stuff. BUT, I know a lot still does not make sense, DO NOT FEAR! It is all part of the story so far, and will all be explained next chapter.
