I never felt like I had person in the world. I thought I was soul that did nothing with my life that was until I found my purpose. It all started when I was a senior in high school. There was an assembly and three military woman came and spoke about the army. I was inspired to become like them and save lives. The day after graduation I enlisted. I have been in the army for four years and now I am finally returning home. I am First Lieutenant Y/N Jackson.
I walked up the steps of my moms house. I was surprising them because today was there 20th wedding anniversary. I walked in while there backs was towards me and they were giving a speech about family. Everyone had a shocked face on and my brothers and sister started crying when they recognized my face. My moms turned around to see see who walked in and when they saw my face they started crying. My mommy instantly jumped into my arms while my momma just walked towards me in a hug. My siblings then joined the group hug and we were all united once again.
"I missed you" was the only thing they could all say as they were still in shock.
"I miss you guys too" I said while holding on to my momma. My brother Eric and Arin showed me around and introduced to me the guest. Most of them I knew and engulfed them in a hug. I was walking to the buffet line when my sister Chelsea approached me with a girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
"Y/N I would like you to meet my girlfriend Camila. Camila this is my sister" Camila gave me hug which I was not expecting but I still hugged back.
"It's nice to meet you, finally my sister has been tamed." I joked while Chelsea punched me in the arm.
Camila and I got along and she knew that Chelsea and I were intersex. She was very understanding and I knew right then and there this girl was perfect for my sister. While Camila and I were talking about her hand this girl with emerald eyes and beautiful dark hair approached us. I was mesmerized by her smile she wore and I couldn't help but feel drawned to her.
"Hey Camz." She spoke when she reached us at the table.
"Hey LoLo I want you to meet Y/N. She is from the military, she is cute, and she is single." I blushed when's he said the last part.
"Hi" I finally spoke putting my hand out to shake hers. She shook my hand and there was this spark when our hands touched.
"Hey I am sorry for this one over here." She said while pointing to Camila.
"I am not. I got to meet a beautiful girl like yourself." I said and now she was blushing. She used her hands to cover her reddened face. I quickly removed her hand and intertwined them with my own and said "Don't hide your beautiful face from me." She blushed even harder and just like that we instantly connected. We talked for the rest of the night about everything. Her name is Lauren. She is 18 and she loves music. She is in a famous band called Fifth Harmony. She loves beanies and she is bisexual.
When the party came to an end and she had to leave so I walked her to the door.
"Lauren c-can I-I get yo-your number?" I stuttered out. She giggles which is the cutest thing I have ever heard.
"Yes you may." She said and I handed her my iPhone. A black car pulled up and Camila and Chelsea finally stopped sucking each other's face off. Camila entered the car and she left the door open for Lauren.
"I will see you later." She said while kissing my cheek and left. I had a huge smile on my face while she pulled off and I walked in to my house.
"Not even back for a full day and you already have a girlfriend" my momma jokes. I hugged her and we walked to my room. I have an apartment but I know my family wanted my around more so I wouldn't move until next week.
I look through my phone and saws item save her contact name as just her name and I changed it to LoLo 🙈❤️, than I texted her.

I hit send and I instantly regret. What if she doesn't like me? Maybe I shouldn't have sent the heart. Oh god I fucked up a potential relationship. My thoughts were interrupted when my phone buzzed.

I fell asleep with a smile on face knowing I have a date with the most beautiful girl in the world.
Lauren's POV
I hoped in the van as big Rob pulled of from Y/N's house.
"So Lauren you have a bae?" Normani asked as all eyes were on me.
"What are you talking about?" I asked playing dumb.
"Pero you know what we are taking about! You and Chelsea's sister look mighty comfortable together." Dinah protested.
"Yeah you guys talked the whole night, you guys slow danced and held hands." Camila stated while I blushed at the memory.
"And your blushing!" Ally concluded as we reached our mansion. Ran out the car and everyone was chasing me as I went through the front door. Dinah finally caught me and tackled me to the sofa. Camila took my phone and squealed.
"Omg she just asked you out!" She exclaimed while all the girls clouded around her looking at my phone. They started freaking out. Dinah showed me my phone and I blushed.

I was blushing by the end of the conversation and all the girls were looking at me.
"We have a hangout/date tomorrow!" I yelled in excitement. All the girls junped in joy with me. We tired ourselves out with all the excitement and called it a night.
