Chapter 3



I went to my first period, English. I was the first person there so I sat in my seat and watched as people came into the class. I turn my focuse towards my desk, to avoid the stares. I sense someone sit besides me. I look up only to see Jakes flirtatious eyes looking at me. Really. Before he wasnt intrested in me, so Im not going to fall for any bullshit.

" So whats your name "

I look him up & down, he honestly has no idea.

" Flora "

" Thats a beautiful name suits you " He winks at me.

" I'm Jake "

" I know "

" Oh really, so you've been doing your research "

I swear if he says one more thing to me. His eyes obviously diverts to my chest.

" So what you doing later maybe you & I should make plans "

" Hell no "

" Come o- "

" Hey flo "

I stand up & hug Daniel, ignoring Jakes completly.

" I thought you had maths first "

" Well there was a mix up with my timetable "

I sit down & he sits in the other seat besides me.

" Everyone settle down ! " Mr Nilgiri shouts trying to get the classes attention. Everyone sits down, but you can still hear the low murmurs.

I raise my hand

I felt all eyes look at me focusing on every detail of me. I mean even the teacher was in shock. The rest of the lesson I tried not to do anything to attract attention, but its seems like it was too late for that. I could hear my name in every conversation, this carried on throughout the whole day.

The bell finally rang, announcing that the school day is finished. I cleared my stuff up & rushed to the toilets to change. Before I could make it to the toilets I heard my name being called, I turn around to see Jake.

" What "

" What happened to you, you've .... Changed "

" Listen I dont have time for this I've gotta go "

" Wait ! Hear me out, Im sorry about what happened yesterday, I didn't mean to- "

" Can we not have this conversation, what I did yesterday was wrong I regret it & im not going to bother you again. Happy ?! "

" No the truth is I like you "

I walk into the toilet not wanting to hear anymore. I get changed quickly wanting to hurry home.

As I was coming out of the toilets, Kate came out of no where & dragged me back into the toilets.

" What on earth did you think you were doing today?! "

I explained to her everything, starting from when I meet Daniel, to that very second, but I missed out what Jake said to me. She looked at me with hopeful eyes.

" So whats up with you & this Daniel guy ? "

Kate & I dont have a bad relationship, we've been together for as long as I can remember its just that our dad prefers her. Kates my half sister same dad different mum. We both walked out of toilets giggling, Kate goes ahead of me so she could meet with Jake.

I walk out the school gates, hurrying home. Kates probably there already if Jake dropped her off. I walk into the house & immediantly went upstairs into my room. I layed on my bed thinking about how crazy the last 24 hours has been.
