"Thank you so much August I really appreciate it." I smiled as he gathered his things. He was finally finished my wall and it looked nice and fresh.

"It's no pro'lem ma"

"No seriously you took a chunk out of your time working to fix my place I can't thank you enough " I smiled.

"Yuh so beautiful" he blurted out in his NOLA accent.

I blushed looking down. "Thank you"

"Why you always do dat?"

"Do what?"

"Quit playin Ya know what im talkin bout Ya always look down every time a nigga say sum nice ta ya" he said licking his lips and lifting my chin up Lookin me in the eyes.

"I dunno" I said softly.

"C'mere" he said.

"Im here August how closer do you want me to get?" I giggled. We stared at Eachother for a second and before I knew it our lips met. We were standing by my door tonguing Eachother down for about 5 minutes until I pulled away.

"Sorry" I said. "I knew we shouldn't have did t-"

August cut me off. "Lemme take yu out ma"

"Are you serious ?" I smiled.

"Yes I wanna take yu out tonight at 8 be ready"

"Ok" I said smiling. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me into a hug and then he left.

My first date tonight and I'm exciteddddd too bad I can't call my so called bestfriend and tell her.

"You look so beautiful mama" August said to me as we sat down in a booth.

"Thank you" I blushed.

"How was Ya day so far?" He asked

"It was good how was yours?"

"Awesome cause I'm on a date wit dis beautiful lah lady" he smirked.

"Ha ha you think you so smooth August" I giggled.

"Ah am Baybeh that's why Ya ass on dis date hea wit me"

Me and August date went well. We talked, learned more stuff about Eachother, joked and laughed it was a good vibe with him I could definitely do this again.

"I enjoyed my night wit u Myla" he said as he walked me up to my door.

"I enjoyed my night with you too August thank you so much." I smiled.

"Goodnight Friend" he said

"Goodnight friend" I winked as I turned around walking into my apartment
