*Wakes up* I sat up and yawned, stretching as if I was trying to reach the moon. The first thing that popped into my mind was my blog. I walked across the room to my desk and popped open my MacBook. My last part of the blog had already gotten over 10,000 comments. It was so unreal! Before I had the chance to let any tears slide, my mom walked in.

Mom: "Hey sweetie, you awake?"

I clear my throat to make sure that it's not noticeable that I was about to cry.

Me: "Uh, yeah. What's up?"

Mom: "Get dressed, then come down stairs for breakfast. Your dad and I have to tell you something."

*Mom leaves* I thought to myself, 'did someone die?' Many things pop into my head. I grab a black tank top and a black and red checkered flannel with some ripped skin tight jeans. I got dressed, put some black socks on and hurried downstairs. I immediately smell the sausage my dad makes that I just love more than anything. My dad brought me the usual monster faced pancake he cooks me every sunday and I immediately start pouring syrup on them, watching it slowly flow down the pancakes.

Dad: "So, we wanted to tell you this tomorrow but it needs to happen today... we're moving."

I look at him, losing my hunger for the pancakes.

Me: "You can't do that. I've been here my whole life!"

Dad: "Just try to see it through sweetie. I've got a new job position and we have to do it."

I try to take a deep breath, but the tears are piling up. I manage to hold them back.

Me: "Where are we going?"

Dad/Mom: "Arizona!"

I sigh with disappointment and anger.

"Ok, fine. Let's just get it over with."

I stormed upstairs as fast as I could and slammed the door shut. I threw myself on the bed and could no longer hold back the tears.

*4 hours later*

Mom: "Ready?"

Me: "Never"

Mom: "It'll be ok. You'll make friends real quick."

My mom hugged me tight. I got inside the car and buckled up, thinking about things that could possibly change their minds, but nothing seemed good enough. I take a breath and slowly whispered to myself, "I hope so" and slowly fell asleep. The next morning, I wake up in the driveway of my new house. It doesn't feel right whatsoever.

Mom: "Go up and look at your new room."

I ran upstairs and before I step inside the room, I breathe in a few times. When I step inside, my jaw dropped and I instantly fell in love. My mind explodes as I look around the huge open room. All of a sudden, I see three boys across the yard in the next house over staring at me through the window. Once again, I take another deep breath. This one being deeper than the others. "Here we go."

I try to forget about the three boys, so I go downstairs and run into the kitchen. It's kind of nice to be quite honest. I see that my boxes haven't been brought yet. My mom then decided to join me in the kitchen.

Mom: "Why don't you go outside for a while so we can get stuff started."

I walk out to the backyard and admired the plain white fence that covered the yard. Disturbing my thoughts of creativity, a boy fell off the top of the gate door behind me.

Me: "Stalk much?"

He stood up and brushed himself off.

Unidentified: "No, just wanted to see who was moving in next to me."

I looked up at him, and I couldn't believe the beautiful creature I had just met. He was obviously taller than me since I'm only 4'9, but he wasn't by much. He had brown hair that looked as soft as puppy fur, and beautiful green eyes. Soft, smooth skin. He was so adorable, I hid my face so he couldn't see me blushing, but I'm positive he did already.

Unidentified: "Hi, I'm Hunter."

He then stuck out his hand gesturing me shake it.

Me: "I'm Alyssa."

I grabbed his hand and shook it firmly.

We stared at each other for about 5 minutes in awkward silence.

Hunter: "Nice to meet you Alyssa. I got to head back over, but I'm sure I'll see you later."

He jumped on top of the trash can and hopped over the fence.

*5 hours later*

I plopped a spoonful of deli mac and cheese onto my plate along with the rest of the food and sat down at the table.

Mom: "So, who's the boy you were just with outside?"

Just then, my dad gave me an evil type look.

Me: "He's our neighbor."

I start blushing at the thought of him and his cheesy but kind smile. My dad continued to stare at me with a blank expression.

Dad: "And, uh, do you like this boy?"

I looked at him, trying my best not to smile.

Me: "How could you ask me that when we just met?"

Dad: "He certainly does seem to like you. I can tell you that positively."

I paused feeling nervous. I could feel the burning in my cheeks.

Mom: "Hmm."

Me: "what?"

Mom: "Nothing darling."

When I finished eating, I ran upstairs and looked at everything around around me, wondering why the only good thing that came out of moving was Hunter and my outstanding huge room, but even Hunter could end up being a bad choice. I stare across at his window, and smile. I just hope nothing ruins anything between us or I'm punching someone.
