"Mmm, good morning" the busty blonde still laying on his bed moaned. "How about breakfast in bed?"
"Sorry Sarah, it's time for work and time for you to go" Kevin finished tying his tie then ran his fingers through his hair to give it that ruged but put together look.
"It's Caitlyn" she said obviously upset that he didn't remember her name. She corrected him about fifteen times the night before... And the week before. He knew her name. He just wanted to make it seem that she wasn't important enough to remember thus discouraging any wrong ideas.
"Right I'm sorry" Kevin said not really meaning the words coming out of his mouth. "But really it's time for you to go. We'll do this again sometime"
Caitlyn rushed to grab her clothes from the floor then headed towards the door. She knew that Kevin wasn't much for pillow talk or relationship stuff but she pushed her luck anyway.
"How about I come to work with you? We could have some fun on your desk" she said with a flirtatious grin.
Although the thought of having some girl leaned over his desk while he pounded her from behind seemed quite appealing, Caitlyn was annoying as hell and Kevin had yet to have his morning coffee or smoke.
"Caitlyn.."
"Oh so now you remember my name" She twisted his tie around her finger in a sultry way to tempt him. He grabbed her wrist forcefully removing her hands from his shirt.
"Leave. Now"
"Ass-hole" she huffed before turning and leaving.
Kevin didn't mind her insult rather He took it as a compliment. It gave him a sort of empowerment knowing he could tear a girl apart from head to toe and she would still come running back to him a week later.
He grabbed his keys then walked out the door. Following his morning routine he walked the bustling Chicago streets to the coffee shop. Kevin had been coming Beanz Cafe everyday since he moved here a few years ago. As a caffeine addict the coffee shop was his home away from home.
"Morning Kev" the barista greeted as he walked in.
"Hey Joe. Can I get my usual with two shots of espresso today"
"Long night?" Joe asked knowing the type of nights Kevin was accustomed to.
"You have no idea and this morning I couldn't get the broad to leave"
Kevin took a seat at the bar and waited for his order.
"Excuse me?" a petite southern accent called at Joe.
"What can I get for you sweet heart?"
"Just a refill. Black please"
"$2.50"
"It's on me" Kevin said to Joe dropping a few extra dollars into the tip jar.
The girl gave Kevin a small smile before averting her eyes from the very attractive man who just paid for her drink.
This girl gave Kevin a strange feeling, one he hadn't felt in years. She was beautiful in so many ways. From her deep brown eyes and long french braid to the shy smile that laid on her lips.
"You're all set Kev!" Joe said as he placed his coffee and bagel on the counter.
"Thank you Kev" the girl said unsure of his name as he retrived his order from beside her.
"It's Kevin actually and you're welcome-" he dragged out the last word and waited for her to tell him her name.
"Abigail"
