Coffee adiction

It was a regular Monday morning. I wake up, pick out some lame outfit that would never be good enough for my rich-blood-annoying-Highschool and straighten my medium length brown hair.

"Morning mom" I dreadfully say as I grab my car keys and run to the front door to put my black vans on.

"Morning honey! Do you need money for breakfast again? I know you lost hours this week!" She yelled from the kitchen.

"Yeah that would be nice, thank you."
About two minutes later my mom came in with a fresh 20 dollar bill. Rich blood, I know.

"Oh honey, you should get rid of those old things, they're nearly falling apart." She's says as she looks down at my light wash blue jeans. These are my favorite pair, and I don't plan on getting rid of them anytime soon. But for my moms sake, she of course gives me another 15 dollars to stop by Walmart after school to pick up another pair.

"Mom I told you a million times before, I'm fine. But if you don't mind I will take this and stop at Taco Bell after school, Veronica wants to hang out." I grabbed the money off the counter and started walking out the door "I'll see you when you get off work!" I screamed before she said anything else and ran out to my black charger. Nice huh? It was a gift from my dad. His father passed it down to him and he passed it down to me before cancer took his life.

I really do miss him. It's hard not having a father figure in your life when you grow up, luckily that's what best friends are for.

I pulled up to Starbucks and parked my car, making sure to park perfectly.

"Good morning Pauline, how was your morning so far." She looked at me, annoyed. "Well I'm here," she looked at her watch "At 7:03 in the morning so not so good."

I chucked. Pauline is a middle aged women who works as a cashier at Starbucks, although it doesn't really matter seeing how she has to make the drinks also.

"I'm guessing you want your normal order?"

"Yes please, and extra caffeine, you know how Monday's are."

"You do know I can't put extra caffeine in your coffee right.., it's impossible! I tell you this everyday." She told me obviously finding this situation funny.

"And yes everyday I keep asking. Its's a routine. It wouldn't be the same if I didn't ask. Would it?" I remark. Oh how I love Pauline.

" I guess your right, now stop talking to me and go to school. You'll be late!" I snickered and walked out the door.

I never go to school with out coffee. It's a addiction of mine. It's like I can't concentrate with out it, it keeps me calm an relaxed. Besides, how else will I keep up with all the fuck boys? They are WAY ahead of me.

When I pulled up to the school I automatically got annoyed. Christie hall was the queen slut of the school. She has new man candy on her arm EVERY week. But this time it's the one guy she's knows I adore. Jacob storms.

Me and Christie used to be best friends in elementary school. We told everything to each other. Then in middle school she ran into the wrong group, she started acting out. We were no longer friends after the 7th grade but I managed.

I wrinkled my nose in disgust and walked passed the "couple" that was practically having sex in the school parking lot.

I caught Jacobs eye, he was staring at me deeply while Christie was kissing his neck sloppily. He looked at me up and down, I blushed and put my down then started walking faster to the door.

"AUBREY!!" The all to familiar voice yelled down the hallway, making everyone silent. Veronica was pretty loud, but I always love her. I'm also louder than she is so I mean we are perfect for each other.

"Did you see Christies new boy toy?!? Ooh I'm gonna punch her face in next time I see he-"

"Calm down, you know that doesn't bother me, next week she'll have some other guy. It's not like he likes me anyway, I've learned to get over it." I shrug my shoulder as I stop at my locker to fill my bag with text books and home work. Why do they call them text books anyway? It's not like I can text people on the-

"AUBREY, WERE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" She screamed

"Sorry, sorry, won't happen again."

" You always say that, and yet you happen to do it everyday!" She was obviously irritated but I just had a goofy smile on my face as I walked to class.

I was looking at my crazy best friend babbling on about how Mark David looked how today. Mark is her boyfriend, they've been dating for three years and yet have failed to break up yet. I really think that they are going to get married. She still talks about him with that same sparkle in her eye and he still looks at her like she's the only girl in the world.

I don't blame him either. Veronica stands about 5'8 and is Carmel tan. She has long, silky soft dark brown hair and curves in all the right places. She could be a model of she wanted to.

As for me, I'm a lonely 5'3 with light brown hair that falls down to mid back. It's medium length compared to Veronica, and as for my weight, I'm not "model skinny" I guess you could say I'm thick. I weigh 120 lbs and not to toot my own horn but *toot toot* I have a pretty big ass.

"Watch where you're going" our conversation was interrupted by Skyler, the school jock. He's attractive but his personality turns me off.

"Why don't you." I reply back. Yeah, I know stupid comeback but he ruined my mood

" I shouldn't have too." He stepped closer to me, his gave center inches from mine, trying to act big.

" oooh, what's this. Jock trying to be big is he?"

" I don't need to try, because I am big." He snarled

"Not as big as your ego." I chimed in. Turning away from him, I headed to my class.
