"How would you feel if we dated?" He asked out of the blue.
"Huh?" I almost fell off my chair.
"What if we dated?"
Then You'd be the happiest girl on Earth.
"I-I-I don't know." I looked away, attempting to stop my face from becoming red.
"C'mon, don't deny that you love me."
You do. Don't deny it, Mariana.
"I don't!"
"Fine, if we weren't best friends, would you think I was hot?" My mouth hung open as I rolled my eyes.
Of course you're hot.
"No." I slowly said, hoping he'd leave it at that. He looked down at his lap, dramatically trying to show how ashamed he is.
"Then I'm gonna make myself hotter and you will love me!" He confidently announced.
You already do.
"Dream on." I crossed my arms and did an over-expressive eye roll.
"Seriously! You are going to fall for me."
You already did.
"I won't. Ever."
Jeezus Mariana, you're making everything so much worse.
"Why not?"
He tapped his foot impatiently. And gestured to an imaginary wrist watch on his wrist. He stared me intensely. I shuddered and struggled to find words to answer his question. What am I supposed to say that sounds reasonable and not suspicious at all? What am I supposed to do?
Tell him now or forever hold your peace.
"I," I choked out. His eyes widened, desperately waiting for a complete answer. "I like girls."

Hello there reader! A new story awaits!
If you're actually reading (wow omg that's great mate 8/8) then I will be updating every week or so, depending on my mood. Not sure how long it's gonna be...but I'll make something work ;)
I generally suck at writing teen love story types of stuff, so don't blame me if the hot guy descriptions aren't super long or totally interesting.
I love a lot of the "girl likes best friend" stories on Wattpad, so if you see anything you have written or seen on someone else's story (like the subconscious fight) it's because I really like the idea. Please be flattered, not offended if I use your idea.
Finally, I'm a huge 5sos fan, so you'll be seeing some references from that. See if you can spot them. I'll try to incorporate some in every chapter, but I will of course run out as time goes on.
