RPOV
We had just gotten out of the Court's jail cells and Dimitri was having trouble recollecting himself after our visit with Victor.
"Come on." Dimitri now looked at me with a twinkle in his eye.
One that said 'this is an 'us' thing'. Well how could I refuse that? Anything about our screwed-up, star-crossed relationship was usually not broached. Although, we had just been talking about it before being interrupted by the Victor visit.
"Comrade?" My tone conveyed the hidden question.
As did my eyes. His eyes told me he understood.
"Yes." It was a statement- the confirmation that whatever was about to go on was personal.
"Let's go."
He led me to Guardian Housing and up to an apartment on the fifth floor. We were at the door and he brought out a key. Well two actually.
"Roza?"
"Yes Dimitri?"
"Welcome home milaya."
He handed over a key to me with 'Roza H.' engraved. He gestured for me to open up the door. I slid the key in the lock and it worked perfectly- just like I did with Dimitri.
I had barely stepped in the door when Dimitri followed me in, locked it, and pushed me against it.
"I love you Roza. So, so much. I'm over not showing just how much you mean to me. I went against my most important lesson when it came to you. I hesitated. Never again my Roza. Never again. I love you, no matter what happens tomorrow, I love you."
He leaned down and kissed me. I kissed him back with all my heart and soul.
It didn't stop there, we made our way through the furnished apartment to the bedroom, our bedroom apparently.
Our clothes came off one-by-one and this time we didn't hesitate, we didn't hold back. We gave ourselves over. He now held my everything- my heart, my soul, my love and my virtue- just as I held his.
"I love you Dimitri, more than food- and you know how much I love food."
He chuckled. "I love you too milaya. More than anything."
We eventually got dressed and he showed me our apartment. Well, it was only under his name but I would be joining him after graduation in six months time.
He got dinner at the Guardian frequented twenty-four/seven café-cross-diner. That got questions and raised brows.
"Hey Belikov. Long time, no see."
A familiar-looking male guardian walked up to us and joined our table. I resisted the urge to cringe and groan at such a blatantly rude interruption of a rare moment in public where I was alone with Dimitri.
"Hey Mikhail. Have a seat."
He turned to me-grinning, and I had to let it out, I groaned. He raised one brow as a response.
"Dimitri! That was so not cool! You know how much I hate it when you do that!"
I reached out and slapped his hand that had slowly been edging towards mine.
"Rose. Your reactions are priceless." He was on the verge of laughing at me.
"Dimitri Belikov! Don't you dare laugh at me!"
I tried being serious but it wasn't possible to bring myself to glare at him after what we'd just done. My tone was also slightly teasing.
His "sorry Rose" had us both laughing and grinning like fools.
