This is how it started...
I heard a soft delicate voice cry my name
"Lex?"
"Clarry" I reply, "stay where you are".
"Lex, please dont leave me im scared".
"Clarry, i wont ever leave you".
* i feel around the forest trying to find Clary and i come across a soft warm body. I hear Clary begin to giggle with relief, little did she know we where stuck in the outskirts of the forest in a terrible storm.
Dad was sure to be wondering where we were, i mean we were just meant to be collecting a billy cart full of fire wood to get us through this supposidly terrifying super cell.
I hear dads loud voice shouting out as he holds a lantern in him hands walking around in search of us. We ran as fast as we could when a lightning crack turned into 100 and was striking down every tree in sight. Now im a 17 year old guy and to be honest i was a little frightened i couldnt imagine how frightened Clarrisa was.
When we got home dad ran to us and grabbed Clarry, he said to me "it's much more than a storm Lex, so if we are separated you stay with Clarrisa and protect her with your life."
I wasnt sure what was happening to us because dad hadnt even said such before, but what happened next couldnt be explained.
I woke up with Clarry in bed with me, i wasnt gonna leave her anywhere alone after what dad said last night. I heard everyone along the street including dad yelling and questioning if it is really "just a super cell". I ran out with Clary to look up and see a thing floating above us with another strange object almost like electrical works everywhere on the ground. Dad said we should set off with the neighbors to the safe haven. Thats where Rusty, my girlfriend and her family are. So me dad and Clarry packed a bag of nescesities, such as food lanterns and baterries. We threw our jackets, denium jeans and boots on and walked down the stairs ready to set off. To ensure the ground wasnt electrofied i threw a stick on there and luckily it wasnt, i think it will be safe for now. We set off to the safe haven and hiked with our neighbors Susan, Kira, Antonio and Michael. We hiked for 1 and a half hours to finally reach the safe haven. We set up camp there and began ready for dinner. We got called over by the leaders of the camp and they told us this:
We have scouts searching the area. Dont be concerned. We just ask one thing of you, that you all return to your tents this instance. This is to count you all and your children to ensure we can take all of them.
My dad looked really concerned.
So was I. And I dont know what Clarry was thinking...
