It was early morning, and James was next to me. His arm that used to be around my waist was above his head. His perfect brown hair was messed up. I quietly got out of bed, smoothing my pink v-neck shirt. James turned around. I stopped in my tracks, not wanting to make any noise. I tiptoed over to my white desk and sat in my pink chair, playing on my phone. I heard James moan. He got up. "Morning sunshine," I whispered being careful not to wake up anybody else in the house. I turned my chair around and grabbed the ice pack, and quietly got up. I kissed James on the forehead. His usually tan skin was now pale as snow. I felt around his puffy, black and blue eye. He winced. "Oh, I'm sorry baby." he nodded slowly. I placed the ice pack on his eye, trying not to put to much weight on it.

Last Night - 10:12 pm

"That was an amzing date babe," I locked hands with James. He smiled, flashing all his pearly white teeth. Just at the right moment once we reached my front door, we both leaned foward and our warm lips touched. I felt a spark between us that I always felt when we kissed. He pulled away, grinning at me. I bit my bottom lip and tried not to laugh. He looked down at the gound. "Babe, I have something to tell you," my grin faded. "What?" I asked squeezing his hand even tighter. "Honestly, I don't know how to tell you thiss, but, um," he did his awkwward, nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head - something he did when he got nervous. My stomach did a full 360. I felt like I was going to barf. "Well, in summer school, Geelia and I, uh, kissed," My jaw dropped. "Wha, wha, what?! I know you, and you'd never do that to someone!" I shrieked. He frowned after I let go of his hand. "I know, she actually kissed me. I just stood there in shock, but pulled away after three seconds," I was speechless. I just looked at him, straight in the eye. "I, I," I shook my head and shut my eyes, shooing away what he had just said, wishing it was just a bad dream. I opened my eyes and found James still there, sitting in front of me, looking scared as ever. I got up and walked to the door. I turned around to find him start walking towards me. "Babe, I," he tried to talk to me but I shook my head and opened the door. I slammed the door on him before he could say another word. I heard a quick yelp and I rushed out and just found him with a black and blue eye with him on the floor. I screamed and burst into tears as I cradled his head in my hands with tears streaming down my face. "What did I do to you?" I whispered to him over and over again. My mom came out and gasped. She carrried him inside and carefully went upstairs and placed him on my bed. I stood in the doorway with y hand over my mouth, still in shock after what had just happened. My mom quickly went downstairs and rushed back up with an icepack in her hand. I took a deep breath after she placed it on his eye and walked out. I walked over to James, my boyfriend, who was passed out on my bed, in my house, because it was all my fault. I shook my head and quickly changed into an oversized orange t-shirt and grey leggings and quietly got into bed and stroked James' hair. I fell asleep, not remembering a thing from tonight.
