Summer chills

3 0 0

Summer night goose bumps
Across your bare arms
Spread over your tanned legs

The sun has gone down
The day ending
when it starts

The thrilling adventures
The road trips
The unstoppable excitement

Summer chills
Nothing like winter ones
Deeper than your skin
Chilling you to the bone
No nothing like that

Summer chills
Welcome to your body
Brings a smile to your face
Crazy ideas, crazy needs, crazy people
On cloud nine the whole time
Electrified smiles sent between the backseat of the car

Over the moon laughter
Echoed through out the canyon
Brought along kayaks drifting on the shore
The overstuffed jeep spewing out people

Still warm water from the sun that day
Surrounds as your glide in
On the shore, a pile of clothes shed away
Along with wariness
Nothing about judging

Headlights coming
Caused from contacting friends
Elated laughter over speakers

Looking up
stretched canyon walls
Birds flying all the way in outer space  Grabbing on to colored kayak sides
Teasing aloud of tipping them                     Playful glares thrown around

Screams before jumping in
Shrieks from girls
Howls from men
Games through out the dessert

All from chills
All from summer nights
All crazy ideas, crazy needs, crazy people
