Brian was becoming abusive. Olivia's pregnancy was risky and she was in and out of the hospital. The kids were miserable. Brian was drinking to cope with PTSD. Elliot hadn't talked to Olivia. Melody told him she was pregnant and it seemed like everything was going in slow motion.
Elliot awoke late on a Friday night when he heard a loud knock on the door. When he opened it he saw Olivia standing there with the kids. Her eye was swollen shut and her nose was bleeding heavily. "He...He was gonna kill the baby...." she said shakily. Elliot let her in. He took the kids from her and put them to bed in the spare room. He then returned and sat on the couch beside Olivia. "Are you hurt?" Elliot asked inspecting the wounds.
"I-I'm fine. I'm sorry I shouldn't have come here. I know you don't want me here I just have nowhere else to go and I didn't know what to do. I'll leave in the morning" she rambled on. Elliot sighed sadly and lightly grabbed her hands.
"Of course I want you here. Come on you need rest" he said gently pulling her up. He helped her to bed and went downstairs to open the door after hearing a light knock. When he got to the door he saw Melody.
"Mel what're you doing here?'" he asked letting her in.
"I think something's wrong with the baby" she said tearfully. He just stared at her quietly a minute. This was all a mess. He was caught up in so many lies he knew he was in way over his head. As time goes on it'd only get worse and it seemed like him and Olivia were just drawn to each other even when they didn't want to be. He needed to take responsibility for all he'd done.
