Chapter 1

"Hi my name is alice renae rezeki, i'm a 17 year old girl but i'm in 10th grade i got held back in 1st grade" i say to the class. Mrs.Winkus then says "okay alice you may go take a seat where ever u would like to sit at".I walk to the very back of the class in the corner and sit in the desk."okay let's get back to class everyone open their history to page 129 and start reading".Everyone open their books and starts to read except me i get my sketchbook out and starts to draw."psst,hey you should be reading not drawing girl"a boy says.I look at him "so i don't read never had never will" i say.The boy shrugs and went to reading. I get my color pencils out and starts to color my drawing.The boy looks over at drawing and says "wow you're really good at drawing,i wish i could draw like that but i can't never could never will said by a cute girl".I looked at him and say to myself" is he flirting with me" then says " um okayyyy".The boys looks back at his book and continues to read. I get out my peach color pencil and color the skin in. Mrs.Winkus then says" if you're done reading close your books".Everyone closes their book except the boy that was bugging me he was still reading.Then he closes his book."okay"Mrs.Winkus say as she passed out today's homework.Everyone starts to work on it as they get it.i get my pen out as she lays the paper on my desk.I starts to work on it.I get up and grab my paper and turn it into the tray and go sit back down at my desk.The bell then rings and i get up and walks to my locker and puts my history stuff up and gets my math stuff.I start to walk to math when the boy who was bugging me grab my hand and pulled me into another room.It's dark then becomes light as he turns on the light."alice that's your name right,well my name is Nate".I then says " well matt-"then gets interrupt "its nate not matt"."oh nate sorry, well nate i was heading to math can i go now before i'm late:"i say."shhh we dont wanna get in trouble do we now"he says." i'm going to be in trouble if i'm late so let me go to class"i say.Nate then says " whatever you can go to class" he opens the door and walks out.I walk to math class and sits down at a desk in the very back.The bell then rings and mr.johnson says "okay class get out paper and write down the notes i give" and writes math stuff on the board.Everyone gets out a notebook and writes down the stuff in them. i get my notebook and pen out and start to write to. I look at the door and see nate staring at me" um mr.johnson someone is at the door"i say.Mr.Johnson stops writing and looks at the door and walks to it and opens the door" can i help you" he says."....i was late to class sorry"nate says walking and sitting down at a desk at the front."this was your 10th time being late nate"Mr.JOhnson says the walks to the board again and starts to write again.Nate looks at me and smirks and starts to write in his notebook."okay once you finish that last part you can read or talk i don't care." Mr.Johnson says while going to sit as his desk and gets on his computer.I finish my notes and close my book and gets out my sketchbook and starts to draw.NAte walks over to me and says"hey,whatcha drawing there".I look up at him and says" i'm drawing something you don't need to know what i'm drawing nate go sit back down"looks back down at my drawing and starts to draw again.Everyone starts to talk."oh my god can everyone shut up"i say to myself.i go back to drawing and gets out my coloring pencils out and starts to color in my drawing.the bell rings and i put my stuff back in my book bag and goes to my locker.Puts my math stuff in my locker and get my english stuff out and head to english.I see nate sitting in the very back i go sit in the very back on the opposite side of him.Nate gets up and goes to the desk beside me and sits down.Everyone comes in and sits down as Mrs.Weasley walks in and says" everyone get out your literature books ,turn to page 454 and read to 497 to yourself.Everyone gets their literature books out and reads.Nate pokes me and says "you better read in here Mrs.Weasley is a strict teacher if she catches you not reading she will give you detention."i open the literature book and pretends to read "is that better nate"i say.Nate shrugs and goes back to reading.I get out my sketch and finish to color it.I look at the clock and says "bell is about to ring" to myself while i start to pack up. The bell rings.i get up and walks to my locker to put my english stuff up and goes to the cafeteria. i get my food and sits at a table and nate sits beside me and says: "hey".i look at nate and says " what do you want nate".while i take a bite of my sandwich "oh i just wanted to talk to you for a while since i didn't get to talk to you in the supply closet".he says.i take another bite of my sandwich and says okay what do you you want to talk about nate?"Nate takes a bite of his apple and says " i know your secret" I look at him and says "what secret" Nate laughs" don't be stupid you know which one,i'll give you a hint you only told one person this but now they are dead".I look down at my plate and whispers ":......i'm not human?"Nate smiles and says " their you go that's the one i'm talking about".I look at nate and asks "how did you know nate, Tell me now nate!!".Nate laughs and says " well one thing is,we share the same secret".I look at Nate blank and confused then says " how are you not human?"nate takes another bite of his apple and says "well i tell you if you come with me".Nate gets up and throws his food away.I follow him and does the same."okay so you're coming with me,good"nate says as he goes into the supply room and closes the door behind me."okay now tell me how you aren't a human"i demand."well i'm just not one i'm something else"nate says.i look at nate and says" then what are you".NAte smiles and says "i'm a vampire a full one, now tell me what you are since your definitely not a human.".I look down and says "well i'm a shadow lurker and i'm one with the nature i can't remember what's that called"Nate shakes his head "you're not just those you are some other things arent you alice" he says." fine your right i'm not just those i'm a wolf,vampire,witch,shapeshifter,but i'm a full vampire somehow".nate looks at me and says "damn, wait how you a full vampire when those things too"."well both my parents are vampires and it goes on pretty much my family clan is called the royal bloods".NAke looks at me shock and says"Royal blood!! th-that means your the vampire princess......wait your the princess every vampire is talking about ,saying you were born with more then one power was it ugh i can't remember but you were still a full vampire somehow".i shake my head"so can i go now, i told you who i am".nate looks down and says "yes you have but i'm not being truthfully .....i'm not a full vampire i'm actually part angle....and this school is a vampire academy so everyone here is a vampire".I look up and says".......really my parents thought it was human school...can i go now" .Nate opens the door and says "yes you may go princess".i walked out of the room and went to my locker and heads to art.i go in and sits in a chair and starts to draw.Everyone walks in but here are some new people in this class.nate sits beside me "hey princess".Two girls walk over to us and ask"hey nate why did you call this girl princess are you two like dating or something".Nate looks up and says"i'm calling her princess because you're not oppose to call a princess by their name that's rude....oh wait princess alice do u mind if i call u princess alice".i look up and says "i rather you call me just alice i don't want everyone to know i'm the vampire princess nate........".The two girls gasp and one of them says " yo-your the vampire princess".i look at her "yes......".The girls walk off shock.I go back to drawing.The two girls on the other hand began to tell everyone that i'm the vampire princess.I get my color pencils out and starts to color the drawing when this boy walked up to me and asks" are you truly the vampire princess or are you a fraud"."yes i'm the princess now leave me alone" i say pissed.the boy walks off and i go back to coloring my drawing.i see everyone staring at me as i pack up.the bell rings and everyone leaves.I walk outside and walks to my house.nate follows me 'are you following me nate"i asks."no i'm not"nate says.I walk into my driveway and walks inside nate waits in my driveway staring at my house then leaves and goes to his house."um mom i'm home where are you i need to talk to you about something"i yell."I'm upstairs in my room honey come up"mom yells back.i walk upstairs and goes into my mom's room "so mom everyone at my school knows i'm the vampire princess".mom looks at me and says "wait what they know you're a vampire oh no we have to move again great, and i just finished unpacking" "mom no this school isn't a human school it's a vampire one"i say. " oh thank god good " mom says in relief."so alice did you make any new friends today"mom asks. i nod"No,but i think i have a stalker"."why you think that hun" mom asks.i say "well he wouldn't leave me alone and he has every class with me".Mom laughs and says "well maybe he wants to be your friend honey".I shrug and say "maybe, maybe not, i'm going to go walking around town go explore this place".Mom says" okay be good and safe tho".as she continues to read her book.I take my backpack off and heads outside.I look around around to see if nate is anywhere near me he isn't.I start to walk around town,i see a colorful building i walk inside and see tons of boys and some girls not a lot playing games.i walk up to the counter and ask" is this a arcade or something".The dude behind the counter looks at me and says' Yes it is but not only a arcade it has paintball,laser tag,and some other stuff too".I then ask "does it cost to get in or is it free just the games and activities you need money for".The dude nods and says "yes and no ,you could just pay at the games and activities or you can buy a membership where u get this card and all you have to do is scan the card and you can play the games".I nod and ask "so how much is this membership?".The dude replies "its 150$ for the membership".I get out my wallet and then hears "Alice my princess"nate yells running to me the stops."umm did nate just call you princess"the dude ask.Nate looks at the dude and says "yes jason i did because she is one".Jason looks at me and says "huh".I facepalm and says "ugh nate can you stop calling me princess,i don't want everyone to know i'm the vampire princess".Jason looks at me shock and then gives me a membership card and says "h-here the vamp princess doesn't need to pay".I pick up the card and says"um thanks i guess".as i put up my wallet and runs off to the games.Nate follows me and says "i'm sorry, i keep forgetting that you don't want me to call you princess".I shrug and scans my card and starts to play zelda.Nate watches me play and says "wow you're good for a girl"and laughs then stops when i get to the last boss "....Wait you're already at the last boss ,a-and you have all your lives".he says in shock."um yeah this game is easy"i say as i kill the boss then beating the game with the high score.I type in my initials" A.R.R."I walk off as nate is in shock and goes to play laser tag.The person scans my card and lets me in.I get a vest and puts in on and grabs a laser gun.On the other hand Nate can't get in unless he pays his way in. "5.......4.........3................2...............1........go!"the intercom says.I start shooting people and gets them out.Nate sits and watches since he couldn't play." 2 people left"the intercom says.I walk around trying to find the person who is left.Then sees a laser comer from behind me i turn around and i shoot."we have a winner!"the intercom says.I take off my vest and puts my gun back where i got it.I walk out of the laser tag room and claims my award,4935 tickets.I walk over to the prize counter and looks at the prizes "hmm how many tickets is that phone" i ask. The girl replies "5000 tickets". I walk off and goes to a game called ski ball and i scan my card and starts to play. i roll a ball and it lands in the 200 hole.Nate walks over to me and says" hey good game in the laser tag you played good".I shrug as i roll another ball and it lands in the 5 hole."hey can i try"Nate asks.I shrug and hands him a ball.Nate rolls the ball and it lands in the 500."nice" i say as i roll the last ball and it goes into the 1000 hole.The tickets came out and i got 975.I walk over the the prize counter and asks "the phone please". The girl gets the phone down and asks "that will be 5000 tickets".i hand her all my tickets and she counts in "5000.....5910 you have 5910 you can get something else".i look around and finds a sim card for text,call,and internet 100gb for 657 tickets and some headphones for 253."um the sim card and those head phones please"The girl gets the sim card and headphones down and adds up all the tickets "that will be hmmm,5910 Perfect no subtraction" she says as she takes my tickets and gives me the stuff.I walk off and puts the sim card in the phone and turns it on and calls mom" hmm what was mom's phone number,oh yeah its 293-125-5483"i say as i dial the number "hello mom"i say "alice whose phone are you using"mom asks."i'm using mine,i got a phone at the arcade,do you think you can come pick me up please".i reply."oh okay and sure i'll be there in a min, where is it at by the way"mom asks.I walk outside and looks at the street name and number"its fibers st. 2384" i tell mom.mom hangs up and comes gets me. Mom pulls up and i get in"so alice what did you all get here"mom asks.i look at mom and says "well i got a phone,a sim card for it ,and some headphones.".Mom looks at me and ask "how much did this cost you"I look out the window and says"it didn't cost me any money i got the membership for free since i was the vampire princess".Mom pulls up into the driveway and gets out.i get out of the car and walks into my house and goes up to my room and hopes onto my bed.I get out my phone and downloads a game.i grab the remote to the tv and turn on the tv.I get on the game and start to play it."alice you have a visitor here for you,come down and hang out with them".I get off my bed and says to myself "them?".I walk down stairs and sees nate and some other boy."Hey alice you wanna hang out with us"nate asks.i look at nate and shrugs "sure why not i got nothing to do here anyways;i say."okay let's go then"nate says as we goes outside."okay so nate who is that person?" i ask.Nate looks at him and says" oh that's my best friend jj".jj looks at me and waves."okay so where are we going nate"i say.Nate looks back at me and says "it's a secret".Nate and jj start to walk off i start to follow them "why can't you tell me nate" i ask.Nate ignores me and keeps walking so does jj.Nate then stops and so does jj "were here"nate says as he opens the door."so where are we at Nate"i ask.Nate sighs and says "we are at my hideout okay"I shrug and walks in and goes sit on the couch" this is your house isn't it Nate". "fine,yes it is okay,but i live by myself so i call it my hideout okay"nate says annoy and sits beside me.jj sits beside nate."so what are we going to do"i ask. nate looks at me and says "um i don't know i was hoping jj would figure out something to do"I facepalm "really oh my god i'm going home now" i say as getting up and walks out the door.nate runs after me and says "hey wait you wanna do something then come with us i think your going to like it alot".jj follows nate outside and says nothing."um jj is creeping me out does he talk or something"i say backing up."i actually don't know we never really talk to each other unless it was text".nate says then saying" okay follow us".nate and jj start to walk and i follow them."so what makes you think where we are going i'm going to like it"i say while keeping up with them."nate looks back at me and says " the reason why i think your going to like it is because i know something that you don't,it's kinda how i knew you weren't part human".Nate keeps walking and i keep following them and until they stop "are we here,it's just the woods" i say confuzed.Nate nods and says "yeah its the woods but something special is in there ".I look at Nate and tilt my head "um okay well can we see this thing you're talking about.NAte and jj walk into the woods and i follow them,they stop when they see a cabin.Nate goes to the door and knocks , a girl opens the door and looks at me and gasps"Alice!!"she yells then running towards me and hugs me."ummmm do i know you"i ask.The girl stops hugging me and looks down "you can't even remember your best friend".I look at the girl and says "Angel is that really you,wait i thought you died because i kinda ripped your throat apart".Angel looks at me and Starts to cry "y-you do remember me,and that wasn't me who you killed"she says sobbing.I wipe angel's tears away and tilts my head" what you mean it wasn't you ,it was definitely you angel"."no it wasn't me it was my sister that you killed ,i was with my grandma at the time"angel says then says "and i have a secret that my parents didn't know until i told them and they kicked me out of the house".I tilt my head even more and ask" what do you mean you got kicked out".Angel looks down and says "you know how you're not human,well neither am i"."yeah i'm not human,Wait what you're not human either"i say confuse."yeah i'm not human ,well i'm part human and part wolf,i was bitten a few years and that was why i've been going to my grandma's a lot"angel says."oh my god really.......no wonder you smelt funny when i was around you,well hey you wanna live at my place angel" i say.angel shakes your head no "sorry,i've decided since jj's sister died his mom decided to adopt me i've been staying in the cabin so they have time to fix up the room i'm going to be sleeping in,sorry"she says."oh okay well y-"i start to say but gets interrupt.i answer the phone "hello" i say. "you need to get home,like now"my mom says then hanging up."um never mind i gotta get home bye guys" i say then starts to run home.i walk onto the porch and opens the door to see my mom crying."mom,what's wrong"i asks.."well,the thing is that it's your dad honey,he is in the hospital he had a bad wreck coming back from work"Mom says sobbing.I sit down beside her and hugs her"i sure he will be fine anyways he is a vampire like us"i say as i wipe her tears."okay honey you need to get some sleep now,we will go see your dad at the hospital tomorrow"mom says.i go up to my room and changes into my pajamas and goes to sleep.
