Growing up I only knew love. I'd stand up for those I loved without hesitation. Nothing was to much for those people, for that special someone.
Love, sacrifice, loyalty, truth, strength of heart, body and mind.
All I was told a man should be. All I wanted to aspire to be. A loving man who was worthy of the one he loved.
I protected the one I loved. I kept her safe from harm. I held her up when she would fall. I answered when she called. I was her's, in the brightest day or darkest night.
Little did I know what would happen next.
