Love Discovered

[ Vote or comment if you want me to elaborate on this story. Don't judge too harshly please :O. I wrote it for English class and decided to put it up here. I kno its not the best story ever but i can make it better. All you need to do is ask ;) ]

 

  ~Tristan~

Tristan. A simple name for a simple guy. That's how i see myself. Simple.

But her. I think her name is Lili. She is far from simple. She is extraordinarily beautiful. I want to hold her in my arms and whisper sweet nothings in her ear. That's not too wierd is it...nah. I want to make her happy.

But she would never go for a guy like me.

Would she...?

I looked up at the same moment she did. Our eyes met. My heart raced.

Her clear, ice-blue eyes stood out against her pale white skin. She was so beautiful. One of them was hidden behind her black hair, dark as a raven's feather. She was wearing skinny jeans and a white t-shirt. My heart heart acked with longing by just looking at her. I felt my breath come up short. My cheeks turned pink as my head turned down. I hoped she hadn't noticed.

She began walking forward, hands tucked into her back pockets.

Ten feet.

Nine feet.

Eight feet.

Seven feet...

My pulse raced. My heart was in my throat. Was she coming towards me?!

I began walking too, cheeks burning furiously. 

Six feet. 

Five feet.

Four feet.

Three feet.

Two feet...

We both stopped, only a foot away from each other now. I couldn't breathe.

She was looking down. It was actually kind of cute.

Then she looked up. Her eyes met mine and then i wanted to kiss her.

We both stepped forward, our movements in sync, and we kissed. Our lips met and sparks flew. It was soft yet sweet. I put my hands on her waist and she put hers around my neck.

I pulled her closer. I didn't want to let her go. Ever.

She pulled away suddenly. Disappointment gnawed at me and I could see that she noticed. She smiled. It was infectious so I smiled too. 

So cute...

I knew this was the beginning of something that would last forever.

But he would never go for a girl like me.

I saw his eyes. His beautiful green eyes, the color of fresh moss. They stood out against his pale skin. Sadly one of his eyes was hidden behind is dark black hair. It looked soft, like rabbit fur. He was wearing dark jeans and a black t-shirt. He was so gorgeous!!! My cheeks turned pink as I looked down. I hoped he hadn't seen.

I began walking forward, unaware of how or why. My cheeks burned as the distance between us became shorter and shorter. 

Ten feet.

Nine feet.

Eight feet.

Seven feet.

He began walking too. My heart raced faster and faster and breathing became a challenge. I felt terribly giddy.

Six feet.

Five feet.

Four feet.

Three feet.

Two feet.

We both stopped, only a foot away from each other. I looked down. I could feel his gaze on me.

I looked up and our eyes met. I desperately wanted to kiss him then.

We both stepped forward, our movements in sync, and we kissed. Our lips met and sparks flew. It was soft yet sweet. He put his hands on my waist and I put mine around his neck.

He pulled me in close. I hoped he would never let go.

But I pulled away so I could see his face. A look of disappointment crept onto his face and I blushed at this earnest display. It was so cute that I had to smile. He smiled too.

I knew this was the beginning of something that would last forever.
