Carter
God she looks so beautiful. Megan Martin is by far the most beautiful thing to ever walk the face of this earth. I stare mesmerized as I watch her descended the stair case. She's wearing a cream colored dress that looks prefect against her chocolate brown skin. She smiles when she sees me, pushing the curly brown locks behind her ear. My heart skips a beat."How do I look?" Megan asked when she reached the bottom of the stairs. She twirled around, her skirt fanning out around her.
"Beautiful" I say in a hushed whisper.
"Hmm?" Megan asked leaning in. I can smell her perfume. It's a sweet mouth warming scent.
I clear my throat. "You look great. Cream is definitely your color."
Megan smiles her bright dimpled smile. "Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself. I can't remember the last time I saw you in a dress."
I look down at the black dress I'm wearing. It was covered in sparkles and was uncomfortable short.
"Mom, made me." I say with a frown. I tried to keep her from finding out about homecoming but she saw the flyer. The next thing I knew she was dragging me off to the mall. I tried to tell her I didn't want to wear a dress but it was hopeless by that point.
"It doesn't look bad. After all I've always like you in black. It give you that cool edgy look." Megan says making me blush.
"Oh sweetheart you look beautiful." Megan's father said coming out of the kitchen. Mrs. Martin follows behind him. She's holding a camera in her hand.
"You two look adorable. Carter, go stand by Meg so I can take a picture of you two." Mrs. Martin says.
I do as she says. Megan drapes her arm over my shoulder and I wrap a nervous arm around her waist. Mrs. Martin snaps the photo. Once the flash goes off I pull away from Megan. I don't want her to know how sweaty my hands are.
"Okay do one more." Mrs. Matin says.
Megan wraps her arms around me and turns her face to the camera. She leans into me. I'm sure it's innocent but her curves press into my side. I can feel her round breast pressing into me. I want so bad to pull her against me.
Mrs. Carter snaps the photo and all too soon it's over. Megan pulls away and walks over to her mother to look at the pictures. I don't have to see them to know how perfect she'll look. It's almost scary how photogenic Megan is.
"You guys should get going. You don't want to miss the fun." Mr. Martin says.
Megan picks up her keys and purse from the sofa. "We were just about to head out."
"Drive safe sweetheart." Her father calls as we make our way to the door.
"Always."
"And remember all boys are dogs. You can't trust anything they tell you."
"Sure dad." Megan says with a laugh.
Megan opens the door. We rush over to her car. The wind makes it too cold for us to be dressed like this.
I get into the car and we pull off. Meg glances over at me and smiles.
"Thanks again for coming. I know you usually try to avoid these type of things but I really appreciate you coming with me." Megan says.
"Yeah, sure, no problem. I figure I couldn't avoid these things for the whole four years of high school." I say but honestly I've been planning this whole thing out for some time now. Tonight was the night I confessed my feelings to Megan.
