In 5 minutes I would finally arrive at LAX. This is the moment I have been waiting for my entire life. What is about to happen? Well let me tell you.
A few months ago I needed to arrange an internship for my study and since I'm studying Event Management I thought it would be awesome to work for a tour manager in Australia. So I found a company who could help me out. I had sent them all my info and I hoped I could hear from them as soon as possible. After 4 weeks the call I have been waiting for finally came.
"Hello this is Sandra, am I speaking with Lexi Shaw?"
"Yes, this is Lexi." I said with a nervous voice. " We found someone who wants you as her intern. Her name is Liz Hemmings. And she is going on tour with 5 Seconds of Summer. But there is one thing. We know you really want to come to Australia but they are going to tour around North America. We hope this isn't a problem for you?" I know I had to say something but I couldn't because I knew what this meant. I was going on tour with 5 Seconds of Summer and One Direction. This was a dream coming true!!
"Lexi? Are you still there?"
"Ow, yes I'm sorry. It's not a problem at all." I was trying to keep my voice normal but I couldn't. So it made a weird high pitch and again I made a fool of myself.
"Great! I will send you everything by email. And Liz wants you to Skype with the guys so they can get to know you a little bit. So, I have to go now. You'll receive the email in like 10 minutes. It was nice talking to you."
"Thank you." That was all I could say. After this phone call the only thing I could do was sit on my bed and cry, like a real fangirl would do and I am a real fangirl so I was aloud to cry at this very moment. After 10 minutes I received the email Sandra told me about. It said that if everything went ok I was going to LA on 6 June but first I had to Skype with them on 11 May. And yes this totally freaks me out.
