"Mary!" my mom screamed from downstairs. I quickly put Ty back into his cage and left my room.

  "Yes, mother?" I said sarcastically.

She glared at me, "Why were you hanging out with that boy?"

"That boy has a name for your information and he's my friend," I stated with an eye roll.

"You know you aren't allowed to hangout with the lower class..." She began her speech. I tuned out as soon as she started throwing in the occasional head nod or ,"Yes, Mom".

As soon as she stopped talking, I left to my room. I locked the door and took Ty back out of his cage. I went back to attempting to train him how to do a trick.

After about an hour of training, Ty finally learned how to do the trick. I set my phone propped up against the wall and pressed record. I motioned for Ty to do the trick and he obeyed. He ran around in a circle and then sat up on his back legs. I stopped the video and sent it to Troy.
I also sent it to my group chat with Jackie, lily, and Nicole.

The girls responded almost immediately with emojis and typed screams. We all gushed at Ty's cuteness. I let Ty jump around my room while I texted them. I looked up to find Ty popping on my floor.

"Ty! Use the litter box, Bun," I scolded as I carried him to the pan. He finished his business  then hopped to my feet. I gently picked him up and cuddled him to my chest. I whispered to him.

My phone dinged with a response from Troy, "That's cute."

"Yea, he is. Thank you again so much for getting him for me. I could never thank you enough," I thanked him for what was probably the millionth time.

"Well, you could always come on another date with me," he added a winky face to the end of his statement.

I though about it for a moment. I didn't have anything to lose, so why not. "Okay, just tell me the date, time, and place and I'll be there!" He's the first guy to ever actually take me out on a date so this was all foreign territory to me.

"I'll think of a date," he told me and then we trailed off and began talking about random things.

"Mary!" My mom screamed from downstairs, making Ty jump, "Your father and I have a business trip to go on. Come tell us bye!"

I groaned, but saved Ty and went downstairs. Every time the y hugged or kissed my cheek, I grimaced. They didn't see it though.

After they left, I texted try and asked if he wanted to come over. He agreed and a few minutes later, Jeff was greeting him at the door. He jumped on the couch beside me and I leaned over to give him a hug. He returned it and then we decided to watch The Walking Dead.

We reached the end of The Walking Dead marathon because there were only a few on the website we were using. I let Troy pick a movie and I laid across the couch with my head on his lap. Only a few minutes into the movie, I felt my eyes droop. I let them close and darkness dominated my view.

My eyes fluttered open, but they closed from the light. I felt something warm by me. I opened my eyes and almost jumped. Troy laid on the side of me with his arm across my stomach.

I poked Troy to wake him up, but I had no luck. Shaking his shoulder also didn't work, so I decided on my last option. I pushed Troy off the couch. He groaned and said a few profanities. He looked at my with squinted eyes, "Why did you do that?"

I shrugged and got up. I had to go pee, like really bad. I almost ran to the bathroom, but I didn't.

"We should go to the zoo!" I exclaimed.

"Whatever you want to do, in fine with it," he nodded. I fist pumped the air and ran to get ready.

After I got ready, I grabbed my camera. I told Ty bye and then Troy drive us to his house so he could get dressed. His mom wasn't home, so I waited on the couch. While I waited, I clicked through all of my pictures. Most of them were of nature, oops.

"Oh! I'm so excited. I've never been to the zoo!" I jumped up and down in the car seat.

"You've never been to the zoo?" He questioned unbelievingly.

I shook my head, "Nope, my parents didn't let me do a lot of things."

He glanced at me from the corner of his eye, "Well, I'm glad to be with you for your first time." My smile was huge as we laughed.

30 minutes later, we drove up to a small building. Troy parked and we got out. He grabbed my hand and lead me to the entrance. I tried to pay for my ticket, but he refused.

The birds were first. I turned on my camera and started taking pictures of them. There were at least 30 different species there. Each was unique and had special qualities. I made sure I got a good snap of each species.

After the birds, we began roaming around aimlessly. Each animal I passed, I took pictures of them. Troy seemed like he didn't mind, which was unusual because most people got bored and aggravated after ten minutes of me taking pictures. Troy smiled at my excited as I gushed over each animal.

Once we got to the big cat exhibits, I made sure my pictures were perfect. The tigers, lions, leopards, and other cats were beautiful. They were so majestic.

After the cats, we got water and ice cream. Then we went to the monkeys and apes. The silverback apes chased each other and played tag. There were also a lot of species of monkeys, just like the birds.

The last place we stopped was the petting zoo. In one pen Pygmy goats, sheep, and a donkey wandered around. In another pen, a large tortoise, some chickens, and some ducks walked around.

I took pictures of Troy playing with the animals. I made him hold my camera as I pet each animal. No doubt he was snapping pictures. I picked up a black duck, turned, and smiled at the camera. Sure enough, Troy stood by me with the camera pointed to me.

We laughed and then we exited the petting zoo. I put hand sanitizer on and then we made out way out of the zoo.

I gasped as I saw the time in the car, we were there for over 6 hours. Troy started the car and drove me home. He stayed at my house and we watched movies and looked at the pictures we took.
