He came in through the high security gate he looked about mid teens, black hair couldn't tell the rest the room was almost pitch black if it wasn't for the one light in front of my cell I wouldn't be able to see a thing.
"great what now another guard" "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" He stuttered like they always do when they walk in.
"I... I'm just here to in...interview you."
"oh so your a news reporter...hmmm this is slightly different from the regular crowd come on in."
I motioned him further from my cell. He walks forward and stops short. He looks at me i can see it just like all of them his eyes the first thing that shows just how terrified they are of me.
"So...um...sir i was wonder-"
"ok stop right there first off my name is Toby"
"ok then...Toby i was wondering how did you end up like this."
This confused me "why do you want to know that and aren't you a little young to be a reporter?"
"I'm not an actual reporter I'm writing a paper for my school." I took this into consideration and thought
"He's probably not going to leave until i agree and the guards let him in he must be pretty persuasive...or persistent"
"Fine let's just get this over with"
"great!" he sat on the floor and took out a note book and a pen.
"so you are referred to as the 9th wonder of the modern world what are your thoughts on that?"
I started laughing "wow I didn't think that i would be considered a wonder, just a criminal." He wrote that down.
"anything else?"
"No."
"okey, what is your opinion abut you being public?"
"let them know i could care less." He stopped to write again.
"Now how did you end up like this?"
"I did some bad stuff as you can see I'm in a maximum security prison in my own cell in the middle of a completely blacked out room and i haven't seen the light of day for two years."
"No not that" he motioned towards me "You."
I narrowed my eyes "why do you care?"
"well I just want a good grade...aaaaaand I'm interested about your story." He said as he lifted his arms up as if he was surrendering
"Why? I'm not human anymore why do you want to know a monsters story."
"Well you may think like that but i still see you as human."
I looked up. And felt a sense of belonging suddenly he made me feel...normal
"Ok kid you seem nice enough i'll tell you but grab a chair its going to be a while."
"I'm good on the floor"
"If you say so well...here you go..."
