"Hey, Lexie come on now! We are going to visit our new neighbours!"

I sighed annoyed as I put my mascara down, "they arrived like two hours ago, don't you wanna give them some space first?", I shouted so my mother could hear me downstairs.

"No, it's the best if we go now. They have a good looking son in your age!"

Yeah, of course she would look out for the son. And of course she would try to bring us together somehow. "I'll be there in a minute!" But maybe he was really good looking. I brushed my breast–long brown hair as fast as I could. I liked how it had a little bit weaves when I let it dry naturally like I did today. This kinda looked the best on me. I didn't really know how to describe myself, like if I was good looking or not. I had green/blue eyes, a mixture and not too thick but also not too thin lips. My body was really curvy, that was what I liked the most about me.

"Lexie!", my mother shouted again. I shrieked back and opened the bathroom door to walk down the stair.

"Sorry, sorry got lost in my thoughts", I mumbled and walked over to them. My mouth dropped open as I saw that my mother made Brownies. "So you made Brownies?", I asked and tried to hide my disgust. She was really good at cooking and baking, but her Brownies were terrible. But no one had the heart to tell her.

"Yes, is that too much or?" My father glared at me and I grinned, "no, absolutely perfect" We left the house and walked over to the house next to ours. A tall blond woman smiled as my mother waved at her. She was carrying a couch with a man, even taller than her, probably her husband. She put the side of her couch on the floor and almost run over to us.

"Hello! I am Marla Payne and this is my husband, George. I guess you are our new neighbours?" My mother nodded and shook her hand, "I am Clarissa Collins, this is my husband Paul and my two children Henry and Lexie" Both of them shook all our hands and they smiled from one cheek to another. I was glad we had new neighbours, I didn't really like the two children who lived there before, they were real douchebags. Those both parents seemed like really nice people.

"Wait a minute, I am going to get my children, I am sure they can't wait to meet you!" With that she left into the house and came back like two minutes later with a black haired girl with two piercings at her bottom lip, one lip ring and a nose piercing. She wore black boots, had a straight fringe and her eyes had lots of black kajal all around it. She also had red lipstick on. She was followed by a guy who was not as tall as her. He had brown hair styled back and glasses on his nose. Also he wore black skinny jeans and a white blouse. I really didn't mean to be rude, but he looked like a nerd. What he probably was. But under the glasses he had really pretty brown eyes and an adorable smile. Actually, he was really good looking. If he'd dress different he would have thousand of girls staring after him when he walked down the street.

"Uhm … hello?" I got tore out of my thoughts and looked up, "oh I am sorry, I got lost in my thoughts again" I saw him standing right in front of me, holding his hand out. Fast I lift my hand up to shake his. "I am Lexie, nice to meet you" "Again, I am Liam, nice to meet you, too" "I am Cassie", she pushed him away and shook my hand, "so are we going to the same school then?"

"I–I don't know, to which school will you go?" She looked back at her mother, waiting for her to speak.

"Westwood School", she replied, looking at Cassie. I nodded and swallowed, "yes, we will go to the same one" She seemed really harsh, the opposite of her brother. Even the way she talked scared me. How would I handle having her as my neighbour? She would actually fit perfectly to those four guys at my school, they also were kind of punk like her. But sadly they didn't talk to anyone.

"Okay, so will you show us around there or?"

I smiled lightly and tried not to look as terrified as I was, "yes of course, it would be a honour"

"Oh, don't talk shit like that" She rolled her eyes and looked at the tablet of Brownies my mother made. "Can I have one?"

"S–Sure", my mother stuttered and held the tablet up.

Cassie grabbed one and I silently prayed that she was nice enough to not tell my mother. As she bit into it, her expression changed to something unreadable. "Maybe you should add more … of everything last time, would really suit it"

I pretended to scratch my cheek so I could kinda cover my face with my hand.

"Cassie is actually really good at making brownies, you should show her some time", her mother said fast and put her hand on her shoulder.

My mother smiled, "that would be lovely"

As I took my hand away, I catched Liam looking at me. As our gazes meet, his sight went on the floor and I could see his cheeks flushing a bit. He seemed really, really shy.

"Should I help you to put your things into your room?", I asked and walked over to the big moving–car that was standing there. I was really excited to get to know more of him and find out what was the deal with his sister.

He looked up surprised. "Yeah … uhm … that would be really, really nice of you. Could you help me to hang up my poster?"

A few minutes later we were up in his room. It was just as big as mine. His bed was against the wall in a  corner, in front of it a quite big TV with a PS3 and a Xbox and some games laying around there.

"Sorry for the messiness, I will clean that all up later"

I giggled as he reached me a rolled up poster. "You should see my room"

He smiled at me and has three more posters in his hand. "Could you hang this one up there right next to my door?"

I nodded and did as he told me.

For the rest of the day I helped him putting his things up and I got to know a lot about him. He was bullied in his school earlier and they moved there because both of them wanted to visit colleges here in London – we were in our last school year now. His sister wasn't as hardcore as she acted earlier, she'd be actually quite nice if she liked you. And this was a defend–mode she had. She was against moving away, but sooner or later she would've moved to London anyway. Their parents wanted them to find friends before college already and also they didn't want them to just go somewhere they wouldn't be comfortable or something like that. They wanted them to be comfortable here before going to College.
