We wake up to the sound of my mom's sleepy voice. "Come on. We got to catch our flight." We crawl out of bed and start to get ready. As Kasey takes a shower, I finish putting my things in my bag, as she does the same while I shower. We're dressed in matching yoga pants. Hers says 'Best' on the back as mine says 'Friends'. I'm wearing my Obey sweatshirt and pink Toms as Kasie has an Aerpostale zip-up sweater and converse. We grab our bags and go.
We got to the airport just in time, boarding the plane just as the worker announced it's last call, "Last call for Idaho!" We pushed our way through clusters of people to a seat. As we sat down we felt relief and were ready to catch up on our sleep. "Goodbye, New Zealand!" We said sadly, closing our eyes as the plane took off.
I woke to a frightening movement, as the intercom told us to make sure we have our seatbelts on and to remain calm. By the looks of it, that wasn't happening. "What's going on?!" I looked out the window to see the clouds raising above us. "We're gonna crash?!" I started to lose my breath.
I close my eyes and hold Kasie's hand. This isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening! Kasie tries to make the best of it by singing, though she is, also, scared out of her mind, "I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the-" She cuts herself off by a scream. The plane starts to turn in all directions as we start to fall. The rest is blank.
