Ashley's P.O.V

I reluctantly step out of his embrace and invite him in.

"Would you like a drink, tea or coffee," I ask curtly. As I'm angry at him for 1. not keeping in contact and 2. for turning up out of the blue even though I did need him. So I give him a half apologetic look.

"No, I'm fine thanks Ash, I should be the one asking you scene as you look like shit, he say with a cocky grin.

I giggle at his back handed compliment but feel a sudden urge to drop to the floor and cry, the feeling overwhelms me and I can't contain them any longer. I feel his warm strong arms wrap around me protectively and his hands gently touch my skin, all my worries and problems dissolves away.

He places one arm under my knees and the other behind my back, lifting me as I wrap my arms around his neck and carries me up the stairs and to my bedroom. I was surprised he remembers my room as he hasn't been in my house for five years.

He gently puts me down on my soft king size bed and lies down beside me enveloping me in his warmth.

*DREAM*

I sing along to Death Valley by Fall out Boy,

As the song came to an end, I take one earphone out. Checking the text my friend sent me, asking

"If I was aloud to go to her party tonight".

I quickly text back with, "yeah I'll be there".

Not long after she replies with, "great see you there by 9.30, okay?" I flip my phone shut and sigh, remembering that I've been grounded and for what?

So what if I pulled a tiny little prank on someone back in Hussain, I mean all I did was turn the boy purple with a dye, it washes. Even my parents laughed but now I'm suffering the consequences.

I'm suddenly snapped out of my day dream.

"Are you hungry?" I hear my dads voice, my reply,

"Can I go to Sasha's party tonight dad please?" My dad just gives me a stern look in the mirror, thats a no from him then.

My mother however thinks grounding will do me no good and she's right to, I'm almost 19 and they.. I mean my father still hasn't got it that grounding me as my punishment isn't going to do much.

"Why do you always treat me as if I'm still a little girl dad?" I say in a slightly dampened tone.

"Because you are my little girl, your still my little princess," he takes his eyes off the road for a moment looking at me in the mirror and smiling....... BANG
