Every one has heard the saying "it's just a dream, it can't hurt you." But unfortunately I know the truth. Dreams are very dangerous, they can hurt you, but that's not all they can do.

I'm sorry let me introduce myself, my name is Alison Reminik, and I thought I was an average teenager until one night I had a very weird dream.

The sky was clear and the grass was green but there was a problem, I can't dream, not in the normal sense at least. I started walking towards a giant oak tree growing in the distance. The funny thing about dreams is that the reality there is different depending on the dreamer, luckily for me though this dream world didn't follow the normal laws of reality, so I made it there in only a couple of fast paced steps. As I got closer to the tree I saw her sitting near the base, Emily, we go to high school together. She was a wallflower. Simple, unnoticed, but pretty in her own way. she was wearing a white dress, simple with lace trim, something you'd see in a movie. Her long brown hair was braided with white flowers incorporated into it. She sat there, watching a single red rose sprout, grow, bloom, and them wilt, over an over again. It was a picture of innocence and peace if not a little creepy.
I decided to say something instead of just standing there and watching.

"Hi Emily." I said softly, trying my best not to spook her.
She looked up at me, and then looked back at the flower still going on with its endless cycle of life and death. "Hey," she spoke just as softly "what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Eh, I stopped asking that question years ago." I told her. "So what's up with the flower?" I questioned.
"It's a rose." She answered.
"I can see that," I said trying my best not to sound sarcastic, "why does it keep dying?" I pushed for a better answer.
"I got rejected today." She finally said.
"I'm so sorry to hear that." And I really did, I knew what it's like to be rejected by a guy you liked but didn't even know you existed.
She pulled a petal off before it could die, opened her palm and let the gentle breeze take it. As it moved along with the wind it turned to ash and then disappeared.
I finally had enough of this dream world and wanted to get back to the dark emptiness of a void that was my "dream bubble", so I started walking away. After a few steps I began to get a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach, it felt like heavy stones that were somehow tingly, kind of like giant pop rocks that were resting on the bottom of my stomach. I looked back from over my shoulder, and there IT stood. A dark figure with glowing red eyes, horns like a goats, claws that were long and sharp, but the part I remember the most was the look on Emily's face as it ripped her head off her shoulders.
