Chapter 1: Whistle
I was just watching him. Not a stalker kind of watch but more of a 'I'm so crushing on him, I hope he doesn't notice' kinda watch. He was gorgeous with his big green eyes and sandy blonde hair. He was always reading. Whether it was a sports magazine or a book on whales, he always read it. I feel that is one of the things we have in common because everyone knows I love to write books. But even with that he will never notice me. Because I am not very pretty. My friends say I am but I don't believe it. Is a girl with bleach blonde hair, hazel eyes, a crooked smile, and brown and red colored braces pretty? I guess when I get the braces off I might be easier to look at. But there is no way I'm pretty right now. Even my wardrobe is completely different than the other kids. They wear jeans and designer tops with flip flops; I wear black leggings with neon skirts and camisoles with sparkly crop tops over them. Every one in school says I look like a freak, but I bet you that someday this outfit will be the style! But that day isn't today 😔. Oh well...
Just as all this was running through my head, a familiar voice was behind me. In fact, it was two familiar voices! "Britt! Ash!" I ran to hug my two best friends. They brought us in for a group hug. I love these guys. Brittany or Britt, as I call her, has Red hair and brown eyes with black rimmed glasses. Ashlyn or Ash, as I call her, has black hair and blue eyes. She used to have glasses but now she has contacts. Ash came up to me and said "I noticed you staring at Lucas" I could here Britt giggling. I blushed and nodded subtlety. They both began giggling then we dropped the topic and walked to our first class room.
** and that my friend, is chapter one! Sorry it was short! I'm new at this! Chapter two will be longer!**
