Chapter 7: Rock Me

I ran as fast as I could, as fast as my legs would take me.

I kept running until my lungs felt like they were going to collapse and my feet were throbbing,

By now I was about ready to knock out, I huffed and puffed trying to catch my breath, resting myself against the tree, hoping that I wont see anybody I knew.

"Jesus christ Sam, what have you been doing?" I looked up to see an unwanted face.

"What are you doing here Steven?" My face tensed up.

"Nothing, I was going for a run and I saw you..." Steven's voice trailed off

The thought of seeing somebody I truely hate come face-to-face with me

is absolutely horrid.

"Shouldn't you be with Maddison or something? Or did you finish fucking her and moved on?" I snapped at him, hoping he would leave afer I said that.

Steven frowned at me, furrowing his eyebrows. "Shouldn't you be with Luke?"

The fact that one of my worst enemies knows about Luke and I gets to me, how does he know?

"Who told you?"

"You know Sam, you're not very smart dating somebody that is so well known, almost famous actually. I mean Luke is everywhere" He said

Luke is everywhere.

"What do you mean?"

"Dont act stupid Sam. The youtube covers? You know they sing. They're going on tour, you know this" I felt embarrassment wash over me.

"I dont know what you're talking about"

"Jesus you're stupid. How the hell do you not know that you're boyfriend is in a band? And is going on tour? I mean, how do you not even know that they made youtube covers?" Steven stepped closer to me, I stepped back almost losing my footing

"I guess you're boyfriend has been leaving things out" Steven smirked as he looked down at me with his blue eyes

"Thats enough Steven"

I felt myself feeling worked up, I knew I needed to calm down before something is said, something I cant take back.

"No I mean, how could you be so dumb Sam I-"

"Shouldnt you be with Adele right now?" Steven's eyes turned into a deep void of clouds. His eyes were no longer bright, but they were dark and gloomy.

"Don't bring her up, you know what the hell happened between us" Steven's eyes searched mine for fear, but that's not getting him anywhere.

"You dont scare me." He knows goddamn well.

"Oh I dont? How about I bring back summer '09? How about now? Do you remember what had happened then? Do you Sam? Should I go on about-"

"Thats enough-"

"Maybe I should tell Luke about this. Does Luke know? Does your own boyfriend know about your little secret? How about Ashton? Does he know? No? Why not? I'm sure Calum remembers what happened. Let's go talk to him! What about Sarah and Michael?-" Steven's eyes turned into something I've neve seen before. His eyes became twisted

"Steven stop!" My voice reached its peak and I could not scream any louder without attracting attention.

"How about I go tell them?" He said

"How about no."

Steven came closer to me, whispering into my ear. I could feel his cheek brush against mine. "Watch me."
