I ran to Eclipse. I saw that she was laying next to the bleachers, unconscious.

"What happened?" I asked one of my teammates.

"She got knocked into the bleachers by Jace." he pointed to a kid in blue who was walking away snickering. "She hit her head pretty hard on the corner. She needs to go to the nurse."

"Go take her to the nurse Leo." the coach said, grabbing the phone on the wall. "I'll call up there and tell her that you're on your way."

I picked her up bridal-style. Luckily I remembered that the Nurse's office was on the third floor, from the tour that Eclipse had given me. And we were on the first floor. And the elevator wasn't working, so I would have to carry her up three flights of stairs.

Someone opened the gym door for me, so it would be easier. I walked down the long hallway towards the steps. I groaned as I saw them. There were so many. But I had to get her there. There was already a bump on her forehead above her right eyebrow where she had probably hit it. I didn't like seeing my friend hurt, so I covered it with her multi-colored hair. (Her hair was three colors. Brunette, Ginger, and Blonde. All mixed together.) That made me feel a little better. But then I looked at the stairs again.

It took about fifteen minutes, carrying a person up the stairs. There were a few times I almost fell. But i caught myself for the sake of Eclipse. She felt cold in my arms. And she was looking pretty pale too. I hurried her to the nurse.

I walked, slow and tired, to the end of the hallway. I knocked on the door that had a picture of a thermometer on it. She took a while to come, so I knocked again. That time she answered.

"What happened? Was it Jace again?" she asked. 'So this has happened more than once.'  I thought. She sighed. "Come on in."

"Place her here." she motioned to a small cot on the wall. I gently put her down, careful of her head.

"So what did Jace do this time?" she asked, grabbing a clipboard.

"In PE we were playing Capture the Flag and during the fourth game, he shoved her towards the bleachers and she hit her head pretty bad on the corner of them. Then she fainted." I told her.

She sighed. "I don't know what we're going to do with that boy. Eclipse needs to stand up for herself. She wont let any adult take care it. She says she can handle it in her own way. She's tough, I'll give her that. Ok. Time to run some tests. You can sit down you know. There's a stool right behind you. You look tired."

"I just carried a person up three flights of stairs." I said while sitting down.

She ran a bunch of medical tests that I didn't understand, but they made perfect sense to her.

"Looks like she'll be fine in a few hours. How is she going to get home?" she said without looking up from her clipboard. "Brandon wont be home for another few hours. And what about her harley? We can't just leave it here overnight."

"I can take her home." I offered.

"But what about her bike?"

"I can put it in the back of my truck. And I does she have any other siblings? I can call her house and tell them, so they're not worried."

"You don't know where she lives." she pointed out.

"That's why I can call. Or the school can tell me."

"How do I know I can trust you?"

"What if I took her to her house?" said a voice from the door. I looked over. It was Jace. I groaned. "I know where she lives."

"What are you doing here, Jace?" I asked, annoyed.

"The Principal said I had to come in here and apologize. And I overheard your conversation. I thought I could-"

He was cut off by the nurse saying "Leo, you can take her."

"Really?" I asked, looking back at her.

"I'll call her little brothers and tell them you're coming. Here's the address." she said while writing on a sticky note and handing it to me.

"Thanks." I said when Jace had walked out the room.

She dialed the number on the phone and it took a few rings for them to pick up the phone. "Hey Alex. How's Daniel? Oh that's good. Yeah it's Eclipse again. Her friend Leo is taking her home this time. Yeah, she made a friend. Ok, yeah. Bye."

I noticed that she knew her brothers by name. And she had implied that this had happened more than once. That annoyed me. But she apparently wouldn't let anyone interfere. But she didn't have any friends before.

"So this happens a lot?" I asked.

"You could say that. She doesn't like to talk about very much though. But Jace is always bullying her. This isn't the worst one by far. One time she was bleeding pretty bad from her left wrist. There have been several occasions where I had to bring her back to her house. Every once and a while I go up there and check on her. I am also the school guidance counselor so I try to help her keep her to stay calm. But it doesn't always work. See that dent over there in the wall?" she pointed to a specific spot in the baby blue wall that looked like somebody had punched it. "That was her. Drumming can't always keep her calm. She gets pretty mad sometimes. Just be careful. Her brothers have told me that when she wakes up, she can a little crazy sometimes."

I nodded. "Well I guess her brothers are gonna get worried if I'm not there soon."

"Yeah."

I picked up Eclipse again and carried her to outside to my truck. The hardest part was trying to buckle her seat-belt. I picked up the Harley without much trouble though. I got in and plugged in my iPod to the little input I had personally installed so I could listen to something other than a CD. It played a random song. It played "Why Worry?" by Set It Off. I then (while singing along) inserted the address the nurse had given me into the GPS I had on my windshield. I started the car and followed the directions the GPS told me. Traffic was terrible here in Falsewind. It took an hour to get there when it should have only been half that time. She lived in one of the more country parts of the town. I got out of the truck and went to the other side. I picked her up bridal-style again. I walked up to her front door and knocked.

A/N: Hey. I just had a drumming concert yesterday and it inspired me. So expect a chapter on that too in the future. Whatever song I ever mention in this story is from my actual playlist. Thanks for reading!
