Behind Closed Doors-A Rydellington Short Story

Author's Note (Important, please read)

Hi Everybody!

So I wanted to post this on here so that people might actually read it because I know this story gets a lot more reads than Mosaic Broken Hearts does.

First of all, if you didn't know, this short story is finished. I hope you all have enjoyed reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. It's been one of my favorites to write and I was able to try new things as a writer that I've never done before. I still have an epilogue to finish writing and publish, so it's not technically completed yet!

Secondly, if you read Mosaic Broken Hearts, it is also coming to an end. There will most likely be around 5 chapters left. My goal is to have it completed before summer. I have absolutely LOVED writing this story. It gave me a lot of challenges at times, but it also was one of my favorite pieces of writing I've ever created.

With all of that being said, I want to say that I feel like my run on wattpad has been good. Great, actually. I never imagined to receive the type of feedback I've received and to create all the stories that I did. I have been able to incorporate aspects of my life and real events into these stories, so it makes them even more personal to me. Writing here has helped me grow so much as a writer and I now am confident to start seriously writing a novel and see if it can actually go somewhere and possibly be published someday.

So, for now at least, I am retiring from wattpad. There isn't just one reason that I decided to stop writing on here but the main one is because I want to try new things with writing that I feel I can't try here. Of course, if I come up with some new idea for a fanfic that I really want to write on, I will not hesitate to create it and publish it for you all. However, there are no promises. I'm going to leave my account here so my stories can still be read. I might come back occasionally to check on things and talk to you guys.

Like I said, I have absolutely loved these past (almost) 2 years of writing here. Thank you for your support and for pushing me to grow. I cannot even put into words how much it means to me and how much you all have helped me. I take writing very seriously so the fact that I can see a clear difference between what I wrote 2 years ago and what I write today makes me so happy.

I also want to give a shoutout to Ms. KatjaR5 She has become such a good friend and these stories would not have been the same without her input and her always encouraging me and guiding me as I write. I still hope to do another collaboration with her in the future.

I feel like I am moving in a positive direction and wattpad has just been a great stepping stone for me to do so. All I can say is thank you thank you thank you. You all have given me so much confidence and brought me so much happiness and I feel like I know you all personally. If you ever need to talk to someone or just want to strike up a conversation, don't hesitate. I'm naturalhighr5 on twitter.

Remember, I still have a few more things to publish, so don't forget about me just yet ;) Updates are just slow but I promise they will be posted as soon as possible.
