Chapter 12

(A/N so guys first things first, I will be trying to give you guys a little visual when a very important part of this chapter happens just because I feel it can be a really cool and different thing to do. Hopefully you guys like it. This chapter will be a key piece of the puzzle for the whole plot. Also Ian WILL be coming back soon stop asking when I already know how I will be doing things and you guys asking me why he isn't back yet just annoy me. I've said countless times. Soon. Drop it.

Now continuing on with the story.

Isabella's POV

At exactly 6:00 am Connor knocked on my door instead of just barging in like he usually does.  Probably out of courtesy for Nira who was sleeping on the bed next to mine.

I grab my overnight bag filled with bags of doritos and open the door. Connor looked like absolute crap but it is to be expected, today we were going to see what ever possessed the other day and I think that is enough to shake someone up.

He takes my bag from me and hauls it over his shoulder "Are you sure you want to come with? I am completely fine in going by myself it might be safer." I roll my eyes.

"I have told you over and over again. I can transform into a wolf that can eat the attacker."

"Eating people won't always work, Isabella" he scowls.

I shrug with a grin "If it doesn't I still have a super strength, years of training and a fire breathing best friend"

"I do not breath fire, I merely " he finally smiles "Awesomely control it"

I give him a quick hug as a belated greeting "Okay now let's get going I want to be there by 8"

His face falls as he starts walking side by side with me "I have no rush"

Nudging him I mumble "It will be better to know what we are dealing with" he sighs as we exit the dorm building "I know but I have a bad feeling about all of this"

Connor unlocks his car and we both get in "Of course you are going to find the cockblocker who possessed you" I stifle a laugh "y'know cause we were about to..." I trail off.

Con just stares at me and I grin sheepishly "sorry I wanted to lighten up the mood. I guess it didn't work so I'll just take a nap"

 

And that is how I awkwardly end up closing my eyes and falling asleep.

 

"How long till we get there?" I mumble my eyes still closed.

There's no answer.

I immediately open my eyes and realize that I am alone.

He left me in the damn car.

Majorly pissed off I get out slamming the car door shut and follow his sent.

He had parked at the edge of the woods, I wondered how the hell he got here when he was younger it was very deserted.

I walked for around 20 minutes until I finally saw Connor. He was staring at a tree in front of him with a defeated face and I felt my anger disappear. I hate seeing him like that.

I walk in his direction and sit down indian style on the dirty forest ground. "What happened?"

Putting his head on his hands, Connor clenches his jaw. "Nothing, nothing happened. We came here for nothing"
