I am the let down, I'm dead, and I'm stupid. I've been called all of those things. I am the one that no one talks to, I'm Cota or Dacota. I don't know why people don't talk to me. They haven't since second grade. I don't remember what happened second grade but it must have been bad. The strange thing is I was never told these things to my face. Everyone just seems to walk right past and get scared when they see me like I'm a ghost. Since I'm alone I often eat on the roof the same food every day my mother makes it for me and I haven't seen her since second grade. People say she died in a car accident. My father is drunk and abusive so I know it's not him who is making my lunch. It could be my little brother but he locks himself in his room. I hear him laughing in my old room, but he seems to have a bit of sadness in his tone. I tried knocking on his door but he never seems to answer. My whole family seems to avoid me so does my class mates. I've was never told why. I think I'm cursed another thing is I look nothing like my father nor mother. It like I'm not from this family. The one person who speaks to me is Chris he is a bit on the weird side he dresses up like he is in the eighties but he always looks the same age and I've known him for all my life he was my friend in preschool and he still is my friend.

Lately there has been this young girl who is stalking me she looks in through my windows and when I take my shower she seems to leave a gift on my close. She is a bit creepy, I would like to talk to her but who knows. I saw my dad for a second he was crying with booze in his hand I followed him he was depressed I hate when he is depressed, but he is drunk to so can't help him until sobers up. So I start to head to school and this strange girl walked up next to me, she was so beautiful she had sparkles coming off of her like she was crying but not a sad cry they were tears of joy. I asked if she was a new student she said no. She said she has been here for a long time and she was to nervous to talk to me. She said that I'm different from everyone. I asked in what way, she said you know but you are not smart enough to see it. I took offense to that, I said that's rude I'm smart, she said you're smart in school but not in life. I asked what that meant that is something you will find out.

We made it to school and she said bye I ask where she was going she said to class I said class is this way she said I'm grabbing my stuff I said see you later then. She was so beautiful it was amazing. I would like to know more about her. She is different from others like shes perfect and yet she was afraid to talk to me. I'm a loser who has some strange eighties kid that I talk to. I have no social skills and yet she was afraid of me. Does that mean I'm not a loser. I walked into the classroom and took a seat the whole class period I was daydreaming about this girl who's name I don't even know.

The end of the day. I stayed and played on the computers like normal but someone else came in he started to play with me. He didn't speak to me he just played and he would sometimes look over at me and smile so I went up to him and asked him what his was he said it is Josh. I told him he is good at games he laughs. He said I like you but I'm not supposed to be talking to you because you are different. I said what is this different thing people are talking about. He stood up and left.
