Kia's POV:
After reading Jaden's message i was a little confused.
Kia:" Hey Jaden. Sure we can meet, but why? I mean is everything okay?"
After a few minutes i got another message from him.
Jaden:" Yeah everything is fine. I just had to discuss something with you so that's why i wanted to meet you. But if you're busy or something then we can meet up later."
I wondered what he wanted to discuss that he had to meet me for it. But anyways i agreed. "We can meet up Jaden, I'm free :) But where?"
He replied almost immediately. "The coffee shop near the park. How does it sound? It will be close for you from home."
K:" Sounds good. Meet you in 15 minutes." I replied.
I got up to get ready. I changed into a pair of shaded denim shorts and a floral tank top. I put my hair into a side braid and slipping on a pair of flats, i was good to go. Grabbing my car keys i left home.

When i reached the cafe, i was a little anxious because I didn't know what to expect. I went inside and started looking for Jaden. I found him sitting in a corner booth. So i went upto him and sat down as well.
Jaden:" Hey Kia."
Kia:" Hi Jaden."
Jaden:" What can i order for you?"
Kia:" I'll have a choco chip frappe."
Jaden:" it's still your favourite?"
Kia:" This place has the best one so...yeah and is yours still caramel frappe?"
Jaden:" Yeah it is." He replied looking a little surprised. He then proceeded to order our drinks.
Kia:" Hey isn't this the table that we used to sit whenever we came here back then?" I asked him realizing it.
Jaden:" I chose this on purpose. I didn't think you would have remembered." He said giving me a small smile.
Kia:" Jaden don't say that. I agree we haven't spoken to each other in 5 years but that doesn't mean I will forget the memories we shared. They will always have a special place in my heart just like my childhood friend."
This time he gave me a genuine smile and said, "Thank you so much Kia."
I smiled back at him and said "Okay,okay enough of this emotional talk; coming to the point why did you call me here, what happened Jaden?" I was a little concerned.
Jaden:" I had to share with you some news and before i proceed with that, thank you so much for coming Kia."
Kia:" Your welcome Jaden, why so formal! I thought we were friends now again?"
Jaden:" Yeah sorry forget how much you hated formalities. Okay so the news...we're shifting back." He said looking at me keenly for my expression.
I was obviously happy. Jaden's family lived down our street and that's how our sisters were close. But then Jaden's grandma wasn't well so they had to shift to almost the outskirts of the city. That's how we lost touch 5 years back.
Kia:" That's great news Jaden. But what about your grandma?"
Jaden:" She is completely fine now Kia and this time she is shifting with us." He said his face breaking in a grin.
Kia:" Thank God. You must be very happy that she is going to stay with you all because you were always close to her right?"
He nodded his head like a small kid and said "Yes, finally i will get to spend more time with her." Our orders came as he said it.
While sipping on my frappe i asked him out of curiosity "Jaden did you call me here to tell me only this or is there something else also?"
Jaden:" There is something else also Kia." He paused before continuing, " I'm also switching schools back." He said a little nervously.
Kia:" That's good Jaden, you will get to spend time with your old friends again."
Jaden:" Yeah but it's halfway through the year and you know I'm not a topper so this is going to be quite difficult."
Kia:" Yeah and you also know that I'm right here, like before. I'll help you through don't worry. Wait!! That means we'll get to share classes once again." I said the realisation hitting me.
Just to clear the confusion: Jaden and I used to attend the same school till 5 years back and he also lived quite close to my house. But his family had to shift because of his grandma's health, so he even had to switch schools. But now since his family is shifting back, he is re-switching his school.
Jaden:"Thank you so much Kia. And yes we will be attending classes together again." He said smiling back at me.
We finished with our drinks and we left our own ways.
After going back home, i texted Susan informing her about this.
"Su, Jaden is shifting back to his old house and also coming back to our school."
She replied almost immediately, "Are you serious? Oh boy! Looks like your life loves drama."
I rolled my eyes after reading her message, but she was right my life sure couldn't be drama free for long. Sigh.
So this chapter gives you a little more details about the story. And now Jaden is joining back his old school where Kia and....Andrew is too. What will happen now?
