Michael

The sound of a gunshot ran through my ears yet I felt no pain happen. My eyes flicked open quickly, the first thing I see is Mason laying on the floor and blood pooling around him. I was confused on how this happened until police officers ran into the room.

A couple EMT's ran in behind them, coming straight to the three of us on the floor. One of the rescue workers was talking to me but my mind was more focused on Savannah. She was finally free of Mason's torture but at what cost?

While I had her underneath me, I could feel her chest moving up and down but her eyes were closed and she wasn't responding. My hand went to her cheek as tears welled up in my eyes.

Wake up, Savannah. Show me those pretty blue eyes of yours. God dammit, please. Show me that you're okay baby.

One of the workers crouched down beside me; talking to another behind her about what she thought could be wrong. I tried to understand her but my brain didn't catch on to the things she was saying.

With a little bit of force, a male rescue worker pulled me out of the house and over to an awaiting ambulance. I was only there for a few minutes before I heard Calum's frantic voice.

"Michael, oh god." He looked like he was going to cry and when he saw me, he did. His legs ran to me, arms clingy around me as I sat on the end of the ambulance.

"You scared the shit out of me." He mumbled into my shoulder along with another ling of incoherent words. I wanted to tell him I was okay buy I needed to find out what was wrong with my girlfriend.

"Cal, Mikey!" Luke and Ashton screamed, running up and joining the hug. Nicole was in tow behind them but she stopped as her eyes went wide, watching something else happen.

My eyes followed hers, seeing a stretcher and the rescue workers rush by and into the ambulance beside us.

"Savannah!" My voice was high as I saw just how pale and bloody she really was.

"Michael, no!" I pushed away from the arms around me, trying desperately to get over to her; where I needed to be.

Being the strongest out of us all, Ashton wound his arms around me and braced his self so I couldn't move. Each time I would try and inch my way closer, the harder Ashton fought against me. My heart dropped into my stomach.

"I just want to know if she's okay, Ash. Please, I just, I just need her to be okay." I broke down in tears, my body falling against Ashton's. He gripped onto me, allowing me to use his body as my support. In the midst of my breakdown, Calum took it upon himself to talk to someone to see where they were taking Savannah.

With some help from Luke, Ashton led me to the car Nicole and Savannah were using today; both of them placing me in the back. Soon enough, we were all in the car after working out some things with the police, and heading to the hospital that was given to us. It wasn't until I saw the entrance sign that thing really set in.

There could possibly be something really wrong with her. She looked badly hurt on the outside when I saw her, but her inside wounds could be much worse; not even to mention what all this has done to her mental health.

The woman sitting at the front desk told us that the ambulance had arrived with Savannah a few minutes ago and that she didn't know much of what was happening but would keep us informed when she knew.

I hated the fact that I was in the dark about something so important.

Throughout the night I sat in the same seat with my eyes glued to the bluish white walls that were opposite of me. Luke and Nicole would go up and get the small details about Savannah and then would tell me. So far, the first time they asked, it was that she was getting x-rays and a cat scan to see if everything was okay on the inside and the next time they were told she was in a room now but family was needed to be reached before they could give information out. I knew that they weren't going to reach her parents because Savannah and them did not have a good relationship; the last time they talked being her mother's birthday and that didn't go well.

"Mikey, do you want something to drink?"

Ashton stood in front of me, his concerned eyes finding mine. They had all been trying to communicate with me but I just wanted to see Savannah.

"Uh, coffee, please." I mumbled, running my hand over my face. My entire body was cold, fear and anxiety still flowing through me. Maybe a nice steamy cup of coffee would help me calm down. With a nod, he stalked off down a hall, leaving me alone.

Calum, Luke, and Nicole had went home to see if things were okay at the beach house and to see if the police or the owners of the house needed anything; and to grab an extra set of new clothes for me and Ashton.

"Sir?" I turned my head to see a nurse in light blue scrubs standing in front of the emergency room doors. I knew she was talking to me because I was the only person in the waiting room at the moment. I was up and speed walking towards her.

"We haven't gotten ahold of your girlfriends parents but I have been told that you're really wanting to know how she is so I'll take you to see her. If you'd just follow me back to her room." She moved, turning back to the automatic doors before I said wait.

I went to the woman at the front desk, asking her if she could tell any of my friends where I went. She gave me a bright smile before saying she would. With a quick thanks, I was walking back with the nurse and heading through the emergency area.

"Now, since Savannah has already been looked over and is getting the right treatment, we have moved her to a room upstairs." Nurse Amanda explained as we walked down a hallway, stopping at an elevator and getting on; taking it to the next level. As we stepped off the elevator and into a new hallway, I was stopped by Amanda.

"I must tell you that Savannah does look worse than she actually is but please keep in mind that she's got a lot of bruising and swelling on her face. We had to get the glass out of her arms and back so she's got a few stitches across those areas. A few of her ribs were cracked or bruised." I nodded my head, trying to not put a mental picture in my head.

"This next thing I'm going to tell you sounds really bad, Mr. Clifford but I need you to understand that it's just until her brain and body heal, okay?"

I wasn't too for sure on what she was saying but I agreed anyway; just wanting to know what was wrong.

"We've put Savannah in a medically induced coma."

That was all it took for me to break once more.

I soz, I soz. It's not that good. Sigh. I've been so just blah lately. Anxiety is kicking my butt and I finally got everything for vacation figured out now, I need to decide if I should buy tickets to the Emblem3 concert in Atlanta or not. It's in June and I'll be in South Carolina then but like I feel bad if I bought them cause my a friend really wants to see them too but she'll be in West Virginia. Ugh. I'm sorry y'all probs don't care about my problems.

Anyway, GhostieNialler, Yeah. Every time I see a picture of Michael I think of your comment on facebook and I laugh for like five minutes after.  Although I didn't actually shoot Mr. Clifford soooo. :)

But I hope you like it and sorry again about my life problems.

-Stay Beautiful
