It's almost 8pm when Kim Namjoon unlocks the door of their apartment and everyone walks in silently. Jimin and Hoseok keep yawning and rubbing their eyes while Yoongi and Seokjin head towards the kitchen to drink something before going to sleep. It's been a though week for the six of them since they had to meet up with all their producers and choreographers to decide who should cover Taehyung's parts now that he has left.

Yes you read perfectly, Kim Taehyung has left the group and is now auditioning to become an actor. Rumors say he quit because he wanted to follow his dream but to be honest, no one among the members of the group knows the real reason behind his decision. All the manager said is that he wanted to take a break from the music world and focus on his career as an actor since his first drama was a huge success. The boys don't really know how to take those words but if there is a thing they are certain about is that now the dormitory feels damn empty without him.

Everyone will miss Taehyung a lot, but the one who's definately going to miss him the most is Jeon Jungkook, his (ex) roommate. In fact, as soon as he came back the brunette locked himself in his room, laid on his bed staring at the ceiling wondering what his closest friend is doing in that very moment. Was he hanging out and having fun with his new friends? He's got a bubbling personality after all, it wouldn't be much of a surprise for him to make a lot of friends in few days.

"Jungkook-ah?" Jimin knocks on the door but the younger doesn't answer. His behaviour would have been considered weird until a couple of days ago but now that Taehyung is gone, Jungkook is not the same anymore. Although the others are trying their best to cheer him up he spends most of his free time staring at an undefined point in space wondering why his friend left the group and most importantly: why he didn't tell them in person but through manager-hyung?

"Is he still locking himself in that room?" that's all Namjoon asks once Jimin walks in his room to wish him goodnight. The black haired boy simply nods and leave letting the leader alone with his thoughts. Truth is that Namjoon actually knows the reason why the orange haired boy left but he can't tell anyone since he promised Taehyung to keep it for himself.
Do you want to know the reason? Well, we could simply say that his heart told him to do so. This way he would be able forget about his feelings and start a new life, away from Bangtan and away from Jungkook, his bestfriend and also the boy who stole his heart. 

The day Namjoon found out about Taehyung's one-sided love he promised the younger to keep the secret and to help him out but sadly, Jungkook was really dense and even seemed to have someone else on his mind.

Maybe it was only Taehyung being jealous and maybe he was just seeing things, but Jungkook and Jimin seemed to grow closer by the day. They started working out together, eat together, playing together, laughing together... and that hurt. Especially because whenever the two of them were doing something alone they would completely ignore their orange haired friend. Namjoon noticed too and tried to cheer the younger up but it was hard, because love hurts. 

"What should I do Namjoon-hyung? Tell him?" would ask the younger "You know I can't . What if he says he doesn't and this ruins our friendship? That would have concequences on the group and I don't want Bangtan to split because of me!" he would then reply once the leader tried to convince him that that was the only way to stop hurting. 

"We are not even allowed to date girls, how will fans react once they know I have a crush on another member?"

Namjoon used to tell him that he was thinking too much, that maybe he should give a try, but Taehyung was too scared and nothing could make him change his mind. Not even Jimin and Jungkook growning closer and having way too much skinship for his likings. It didn't took long until the fans noticed that there was something wrong with Taehyung, that he looked somehow jealous...but they didn't complain. Actually, they encouraged the whole 'Vkook bromance' thing so what was the problem?
