Nick's pov
Tai and i would've been together all day but he felt guilty for skipping school so we went back and he seemed to be pretty glad he didn't miss first period and i laughed as i watched him speed walk to class and of course i couldn't help but to stare at his butt it's really nice
by lunch i could tell he missed me he practically tackled me down when he hugged me i had to pull him off quickly to gain my balance so we both didn't fall down on the cafeteria floor and after that i took him out to eat cause i know how much he hates school food
as i drive i hold his hand and laugh at him as he adorably keeps apologizing for the incident in the cafeteria we decide on pizza and go to mods pizza
before he got out the car i pulled him back in " Tai we can't do that till everyone knows the hugging in school i mean and im not being an asshole i know it sounds like it but i'd rather tell everybody then for them to find out by the way we act in school and have them start talking shit, i'll tell everyone today i promise i just don't want them talking about you or us cause if i hear that i will most definatly fight someone ok ?"
Tai's pov
i crash into his arms hugging him and realize he's falling as he pushes me away and i felt so bad i apologized to him the whole drive to mod's pizza i reached for the door handle to get out the car but he pulls me back and tells me he doesn't wanna hug or kiss or anything till everyone knows about us i know he's trying to protect me and it's sweet he cares but i don't care what they have to say
" but nick it doesn't matter to me what they say they're just idiots i..." he silences me with a passionate kiss and when he pulls away im blushing like crazy and he just laughs and says " i care and i wanna protect you from as much as i can" he then gets out the car and so do i
in mods pizza we eat and drink a bunch of soda as we talk then we get in his car to leave before lunch is over and on the way home he stops by a gas station to fill up his car and i see there's a slush monkey machine in the back and i really want one but i don't ask nick
i continue to walk through the gas station with him as he looks for snacks and stuff for his football practices after school and on the weekends and me still idiotically staring at the slush monkey machine in the back
Nick's pov
i stop at a gas station and take Tai inside with me and i start picking up all the stuff i usually do for my practices and walk around i then start asking Tai if he wants anything but he keeps refusing but i know Tai he wants something and im gonna find out
we walk towards the back of the store cause the whole time we were walking i noticed Tai kept staring at the back so i walked back there Tai trying to keep up with me i then see what he's been staring at the slush monkey in the back
i turn to Tai and ask " is that what you want handsome" he smiles brightly and says " yeah but i don't want you to spoil me or anything i laugh and quickly reply " it's not spoiling if i choose to do it"
i can tell he's confused by the way he raises his eyebrow and i laugh " which one ?" i hand him the biggest cup there is and grab one myself and watch him fill his cup up
we both drink about 3 slush monkies throughout the day and we both got major brainfreezes i drove him back to school with his last icee in his hand and we both drink them as we walk inside the school and he whispers in my ear " i love you Nick and thank you for everything" then he heads to class
i smile as i watch him walk away and go to class thinking best day ever now i just gotta tell everybody about me and Tai... the struggle is deadly real
