Half way into the game I steal the ball, take it up the field and cross it getting an amazing goal. That marking my fifth goal.....that game. The opposing team was angry and tired but I didn't care. Unknowing that the other team was seeking revenge. They got their strongest, most powerful kicker and positioned her on top. But instead of passing it to one of her teammates like a normal play, she cocks her leg back and full force nails the ball at the back of my head. It instantly knocked me to the ground, being 94 pounds and 5'1 it didn't take much. I blacked out, but as soon as I came to I had a new target. Running full force I knocked the girl to her ground and pounded her face. Breaking her nose was definitely worth the red card. Walking to the bench, I start blacking out again and I tried to focus. I was hot, sweaty, and now had an excruciating headache like no other. The game came to an end and I went home and started preparing for the next day. My mom comes in and says hand it over. Now I was angry because my head hurt and I was being punished for punching the girl in the face.

The next morning, my headache continued but to add to it I was really sensitive to light and sound. But I knew if I told my mom it wasn't just a bruise, she'd be to scared to let me continue playing soccer. I go to school and the entire day  I had a pounding sensation in the back of my head.  It was horrible but I still wanted to see if I could play. So after school I got on the bus to go to the high school. I went to the trainers office like I was instructed to do by my coach if my headache didn't go away. And she made me take a concussion test....I failed. I was furious and to add to it, since I didn't have my phone I had to walk all the way to the field to tell my coach. Passing the football field then heading past the baseball field to see that the entire baseball team was staring at me. Curious as to why I hear one of the guys say to another, "Just do it or you're gonna get it." Next thing I know a tall, attractive baseball player comes walking up to me. He says, "You look like you're having a bad day." Looking at him I respond, "No shit, I have a concussion." He replies, "I'm sorry, could I give you a hug?" At the moment I was angry about the concussion, not getting to play, having to tell my coach, and having my phone taken. Honestly I did need one so I said, "Sure why not?" We both walked our separate ways after that and I went and told my coach. Yeah my day was kind of suckish but come to find out that hug was the best part of it.
