The most difficult phase of life is not when no one understands you its when you dont understand yourself. Madison was the most popular teenager at Northern high school. To everybody else Madison had it all she was smart, athletic, beautiful everyone admired her and wanted to be her. At school she had the prettiest smile, But it dissapered when she got home
and slowly one tear would slowly roll down her face, then two, eventully hundreds of tears would roll slowly down her face within hours. When Madison looked in the mirror she saw someone fat, ugly, and every negotive thing you can possibly think of yourself. No one really knew Madison, how could anyone she barley knew herself.
Everyday she woke up put on her fake smile and lip gloss. People thought she was happy. She told herself and told herself she was happy hoping one day to believe it the way other people did.
Madisons boyfriend always would kiss her on the forhead and say how did i get someone so close to perfect as you. Her eyes always would water because the way she saw herself when she looked into her own reflection in the mirror, she was always so ashamed of herself. One day her boyfriend found something she had ripped out of her english notebook. He read it in disbelief
"When i look in the mirror i want to burst into tears. I dont know how people think i am so perfect, because im so far from it. The pressure of everyone knowing you, having to keep such a good reputation makes me so nervous becuase if i make one mistake everyone will know and remeber it. Why does it seem like when ever i do something good the memorycomes and goes but if i were to do something bad everybody would remember it forever? I hate my life i wish i could move and just not be the perfect girl for once becuase honestly being perfect ineveryone elses eyes just makes you more terrified!"
He was shocked, he always thought of her as happy and was comfortable being her. He cumbled it up and through it at her when she walked into the room. She said hey what was that for he looked at her with his confused deep green eyes. She uncrumbled the paper and started crying as she finally started to realize what he had thrown at her. Madison stood there sobbing now someone now knew her secret He knew how she really felt how she saw herself as something so negotive. He slowly stood up and hugged her not knowing what else to do. He kissed he forehead now saying something else "nobody's perfect but your perfect for me, it dosen't matter what anybody else thing thinks. You need to be yourself. No one actully thinks your perfect they just see you as this role model that everyone has known. This is just my opion but you are beautiful and original dont be someone you aren't we only have one life, might as well live it as the person you are.
Dont waste it. I Love You no matter who you are so be yourself.
She stared into his loving green eyes and said thank you Its just you like nothing when you dont understand yourself and you keep searching to find yourself but you cant. He looked down at her and said lifes not about finding yourself is about creating yourself.
