"D-dad! Why can't I see?" I asked. My siblings agreed wit hme and were now starting to question my father.

He just laughed. "You can take them off, now." After hearing this, my siblings and I tore off our blindfolds. I gasped, seeing the beauty in front of me.

It was a ship, oak wood with gold rims. The crisp white sails wanted to be unfolded, to blow in the wind. But it was ancored down at the lone port.

"Go on! See your new crew!" He told us. We ran up the small plank, and saw five people. Two of them were freternal twins, Having either a red ponytail or a black ponytail with a goatee, a small boy, about our age, a rather large man, not to be offensive, and a bald man, twidling a knife between his fingers.

"Hello! I'm Jack! This is Logan, my brother, Logan, Kyle, Tooth, and Buck." The red-head introduced himself and his peers.

"Why don't you kids explore the ship? I need to talk buisness with Jack here," my father said. Nodding, the four of us went to explore the ship. I imediatly went towards the back of the ship, where the wheel was.

I marvled at the fancy axel, then went to the rims. It was a sunny day, and it made the gold shine brightly.

The sun suddenly went away, and in its place, a large shadow. I turned, and saw Buck holding up a knife, like he was getting ready to stab me. Frightened, I turned and dove into the water, skinshifting to a dragon on my way down.

Panicking for the saftey of my family, I turned up and shot out of the water. I landed on the deck, hardly, and shook it off.

I saw the crew panick, and my siblings were following them down to saftey on the deck. I looked to my right, and saw my father, lying on the ground. Buck was standing above him, muttering something about a goddess. He brought the knife down, and red came to my eyes. And not soon afterwards, I saw white.

Once my vision cleared up, images of what had just happened came back to me in a split second. I had turned into a dark grey wolf, knowing my eyes had become a glowing white with rage, and I had jumped in front of the knife before it hit my father's chest.

I glared at Buck, snarling and barking before I remembered to use english. "No one messes with my family and gets away with it!" I growled, before lunging at him and tearing out his throat.

The pain in my left shoulder began to come back to me, then the pain seared through my whole body. I fell over in pain, crying. My father came over and pulled it out, and my wound started to heal quickly.

"I swear, anyone gets near my children again, I'm gonna-"

"Dad," I mumbled, changing into a human again.

"If any of you try anything, I'll make sure-"

I had to make him pay attention to me. "Kevin," I barked. He stopped and looked at me. "It was one misshap out of some apples, nothing more. They are safe to be around." I told him, my new age starting to be relevent.

I may be only five in human years, but my age of twelve is starting to show.
