Chapter Thirteen | A New World
•Catherine's POV•
"Um... Who are you?" The small voice
asks again. It was a girl. She probably looked around 12 years old, and had turquoise colored hair and green eyes. And she also had... wings?
"Uh, I'm Catherine," I replied. "Who are you?"
"My name's Bailey." She replied. "Guardian fairy of Sparkletopia."
Wow. Sparkletopia. Does this place even exist? Am I just hallucinating?
I started to get a little dizzy.
"Uh, are you okay?" Bailey asked.
"Yeah, I'm just a little dizzy," I replied.
"Oh, it must be all the sparkles. My first year in Sparkletopia was literally nothing but dizziness all day." Bailey said.
Okay, now I'm really not feeling that good. I need to rest... I thought.
"Woah, are you okay?" Bailey said.
I sat on a tree stump. "Yeah, I'm fine." I replied.

Later, I wake up in a bed that again, is not mine.
"Where am I?" I asked Bailey, who was looking at me.
"You're in Sparkletopia hospital. I thought to take you here after you fainted." Bailey replied.
Oh, so now there's a hospital in this crazy place. Wonderful. Absolutely freaking-tastic wonderful. I thought.

After leaving the hospital, Bailey took me to her house. I'm actually surprised I even decided to stick around. Her house was actually pretty nice, but it didn't look like most houses I've seen. It wasn't the usual mushroom or whatever you would expect from a fairy tale. It was covered in flowers and vines, and it appeared to be... bouncing?
But once I walked in, I didn't really feel any bouncing. Maybe it was just an appearance from outside. Maybe.
"Do you need a place to stay? I have an extra room for you." Bailey asked.
"Uh, yeah." I replied.
"Don't be embarrassed to ask! If you need anything, just ask me." Bailey said.
"So, in Sparkletopia, do you have money here?" I asked.
"What's money?" Bailey asked.
"Well, when you go somewhere, how do you pay for anything?" I asked.
"We use Fairy Doobles." Bailey said.
"What are Fairy Doobles?" I asked.
Bailey walked to a table and picked up a golden coin. "These are Fairy Doobles." Bailey said as she held up the coin.
"Oh, that makes sense." I said.
"Oh, that reminds me, are you hungry?" Bailey asked.
"Nah, I'm probably just going to go to bed," I said.
"But it's only 7:00." Bailey said.
They have real time here too?!
"Well I'm very tired," I said.
"Okay, well, goodnight." Bailey said.
"Goodnight." I replied.

The Next Morning
"Wake up, sleepyhead." Bailey sang gently.
"What?" I was wondering why I was up so early in the morning.
"We gotta go!" Bailey said. I noticed that she was wearing something different. She was wearing a white short sleeved collared shirt, with a navy blue skirt, black stockings, and navy blue flats with bows on them.
"What are you wearing?" I asked.
"My uniform! For school, silly!" Bailey replied.
"Wait, what grade are you in?" I asked.
"7th. I go to a school where it's 6-12th grade, so we'd be able to go to school together." Bailey replied.
"Wait, how old did you think I was? Just asking." I said.
"Well, honestly, I thought you were 13, but aren't you a high schooler?" Bailey asked.
"Yeah, I'm in the 10th grade. Do I have to wear uniform?" I asked.
"Yes," Bailey said.
"Well, that sucks," I groaned.
"I might have an extra uniform. Get out of bed silly!" Bailey giggled and lifted the blanket off me.
Ten minutes later, I'm wearing a uniform that I feel very uncomfortable in. I usually never wear this type of clothing.
"Well, let's get to school!" Bailey grabbed my hand and rushed me out the door.
A/N
Sorry if these things get a little annoying.
So what do you think of the name Sparkletopia? Should I change it? If you think I should, give me some suggestions.
Bye!
