Heyyyyy Guysss,

So it's been a while..... and by a while I need it's been seven months since I last updated...

OPPS.

About that, I've been kind of busy for a while more (understatement of the century) but I promise I'll get a new chapter up soon! I had one nearly done before I took my seven month break so I'll probably put that up within the next week.... I hope.

I guess I can post the unedited version of the beginning until I finish soooo, here y'all go I'll see you with a better copy in a week!

They flew for hours. Crossing all sorts of terrain; mountains, rivers, valleys, everything that America had to offer. From the sights of giant colourful farms, full of vegetation to the bustling life of the cities, where skyscrapers reached for the heavens.

The sights that they saw made the sudden mission bearable for Scott. Normally he would be sitting inside the plane, coming up with some sort of battle strategy, but today he chose to stand beside Stiles with Derek at the pilot seat, taking into the landscape. After all there wasn't really anything to plan, the group was only going on a wild goose chase, unsure of what they would even find. For all they knew, the Avengers could have left the city hours ago. And it was that uncertainty that made taking his mind off of things necessary.

But not everyone was sight seeing, at the back of the tiny aircraft, Lydia and Allison sat together. Trying to keep their minds off of things by discussing unimportant topics.

"So what was happening with you, Erica and Stiles before I came in the room earlier?" Allison asked her companion, raising an arched brow at her.

"Nothing important, Stiles was just acting bitter. The usual." Lydia said while rolling her eyes.

Allison looked at her quizzically and continued, "Did you find out why he wasn't there for training?"

"Same as always, he's just trying to be rebellious." the other girl answered. Allison rotated her body towards Lydia and pouted, thinking about her words.

"Why do you care so much anyways? This happens all the time." the archer stated, chuckling softly.

But Lydia only looked down at her hands, fumbling with her thumbs.

Then quietly, Allison continued, "What really happened last summer?"

The red haired girls head shot up abruptly, only staring at Allison, not responding.

"Uh, guys we have a problem," Stiles interrupted the two.

Beep, beep, beep, the girls heard a growing noise from the cockpit. It was becoming rapid and both Allison and Lydia ran over to check on it.

"There's a missil-"

And suddenly, a loud bang came from the right side of the plane. A great wave of heat and pressure throwing them all back against the floor. Shards of metal and flames the colour of amber spewed everywhere, leaving the group hacking up their lungs.

"A missile," Stiles huffed, "A missile is coming towards us."

Lydia flicked her ember covered hair out of her face and looked over at him traumatically.

"What do we do?" she asked.

"Oh my God we're going to die!" Allison exclaimed.

"We are not going to die," Scott responded.

"Yes we are oh my goodness we're going to crash and die."

But Scott only rolled his eyes, bickering back at her.

"Uh, guys," Stiles uttered, looking over at Derek, "I think we have a problem."
