Zexion Corazza stood in front of the hospital, his dad behind him, holding his shoulder protectively and comfortingly. He had another "attack" as he called it. He had this condition that caused hallucinations, and he had once again had a bad episode, bumping his head, nearly knocking himself out. His father had thought it would be best for him to seek medical treatment at Radiant Garden's finest, most well known hospital. Vexen Prince had known that his family of two didn't have the money to afford for zexion to get the treatment here, but he had planned to ask his boss for an advance in pay, and maybe work some overtime. He would do anything for his son, that was his single vow once he had adopted the boy from the basket on his doorstep. He had sworn to himself that he would protect his boy with his life, anything he wanted or needed would be given to him, no questions asked. He was sure his longtime friend and boss, Xemnas, would be willing to give him ANOTHER advance in his pay if he knew the reasoning. Xemnas had always had a strange interest in Zexion and had immediately taken a shine to the young boy, protecting him with almost as much vigor as Vexen had. This had worried him at first, just the pure intensity this other man had on protecting and raising the boy. Now, at 16, the boy was a man, and Xemnas had only increased his interest in the boy, often letting his hand linger on the boy's shoulder, his eye linger on the boy's figure, it all worried Vexen to no end. He knew what the man was capable of, and didn't want his son to be caught up in it all.
Zexion sighed softly, staring up at the tall, cold, unforgiving building, and he couldn't stop himself from thinking it looked very stereotypical and bland. The building was gigantic, with sleek silver walls, it was quite intimidating. The only windows in sight were up in the middle of the enormous building. He wondered what would await him here...if he'd make friends, or stick out like at his highschool. He drifted off into a trance thinking of an incident that had happened at the school. He suddenly shook his head clear and took a deep breath. No going back. He took a step towards the door, gulping hard.
