Friends are Close, but Stalkers are closer

Beginning of the Trip

It was just supposed to be a nice road trip before college, but it became something more...

Before, we start this trip I want to tell you about my friends and I and how we became all friends. Also, tell you how this trip got decided.

So, my name is Taylor and this is the last summer before my friends and I have to go to college. I have got accepted to a school in New York City. My longest friend is Clara. We met on the first day of elementary school. Our town is small, so everyone knew each other. So, when she came, people wanted become friends with her family. On the first day of elementary school we were in first grade and had to work on school work together. We learned that we had stuff that we both liked and disliked. Though she is going to be the farther away than the rest of us. She decided to go to the college of Los Angles because she wanted to be close to her family.

After that, we became friends with both Lea and Penny. Lea was shy, when I met her in the middle school library. I was looking for a book and I asked her for help. We also had things in common and she also had things in common with Clara that I didn't have. She decided to go to college in Vermont and she is the closest to where I am going to college. When I met Penny I was in my last year of middle school. She was more of the troublemaker of the class and no one wanted to be friends with her because no one wanted to get in trouble. She has gotten accepted to a school at Michigan State. My parents were kind of scared for me for wanting to hang out with her.

All of us then became friends and nothing could happen to our friendship.

We all decided that we wanted to go on a trip before we all leave. We all decided that we wanted to go to the town of the school that we all are going to during the fall. We were going to drive to Los Angles first because it was the closest to our town. We would spend about two days in Los Angeles. Then, we would fly to Chicago. After that we would rent a car and go to Vermont. We would go to Cape Cod just because we wanted to see the Atlantic Ocean. The last stop is New York City just before we go home.

Day before trip

Today is the last day before my trip. I went about my normal day, but I was so excited for what was coming up with the trip. I've got everything that I need to pack, but I'm getting some things to keep me busy on the trip for when I'm not drive.

I drive to Target because that's the closest from my house. As I drive to target I listen to the Top Hits on the radio and as my favorite song came on I had a weird feeling about this trip. Like I wasn't supposed to be going on this trip like I knew that something bad was going to happen. As I kept driving I decided that this wasn't a big deal because I always have panics before trips. I grab some food for when I make food for the trip, a couple of movies (they are Catching Fire, most of the Harry Potter movie series), a couple of books to read (they are Outlander, and Divergent.)

Basically, the rest of the day I baked and I cooked food for this wonderful trip. I also clean my house to keep me entertained and I wanted to have a clean house when I got back. I went to bed at 8 o'clock because I had to get up early.

Next Day

Today is the day that my friends and I are going on are trip. It's only 2 am and I have admixed emotions because I'm so excited about this trip, but its 2 am and I'm so tired. They're here! As soon as I got in the car we all started to freak out because all of us have never been out of the state.

It hasn't been 5 minutes yet, but we're all talking about what we are going to do when we get to these place. They're all talking about places that aren't about New York City. That's what I can't wait for, New York City! It's been a dream of mine still I was little. I've dream about going the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State building, and most of all to see a Broadway show. The show I want to see is either Wicked or Jersey Boys or Phantom of the Opera.

After we left my house, most of us fell asleep again because we had 10 hours in a car to get to Los Angles. I was the only one that stayed up with Lea to talk about stuff because I got a good amount of sleep the night before. We mostly talked about our futures and what lies ahead.

About 7 am both Clara and Penny were awake. We decided that the next city was where we we're going to eat breakfast. I said, "We should go to San Francoise to get breakfast." "Yeah, but it's out of the way of where we need to go," said Penny. Clara said, "Well, we are going to get there around noon so, why can't we go to San Francoise?" "Yeah, we should do that because we have time and this is a road trip we should do stuff that is not on the road we're going on," said Lea. " You guys do make a point about not just going to places where we are going," says Penny. I say, "Great, I've always wanted to go to San Francoise, even though it's just going to be for 20 minutes!"

It didn't really take us very long to get to San Francoise. Also, we only spent about 10 minutes in the town because Penny wanted to get to Los Angeles as soon as possible.

All I did for the rest of the driving was read about a hundred pages of Outlander, which I love so far. I also, was watching the TV show Outlander because I had the Starz Play on my phone. I learned that Scotland was an interesting place because I didn't know that Scotland was in a war with London because of who own land. That was mostly of what I did during that time, besides talking to my friends.

When we got to Los Angeles, we decided that we wanted to stay at the Omni Hotel. They only had rooms with one bed available so, we decided to get two and two of us would have the room. Clara and I would share a room where Lea and Penny would share a room near us.

Clara and I decided that we wanted to go to the Barnes and Noble, but Penny wanted to go shopping so, we're going shopping and then, go to Barnes and Noble. When we we're shopping Clara and me wanted something to eat so, we would meet up with the others. When, we we're getting something to eat we met Grant Gustin. It was very cool to meet him because I watched the show Glee, which was one of my favorite shows. Clara and I couldn't believe we met a celebrity. When we told Lea and Penny they regretted not going with us to get something to eat.

When we we're done shopping at the mall and Barnes and Noble it was 7:34. We we're going back to our hotel rooms to watch the TV and eat dinner. Lea, Clara, and I eat pizza for dinner. Penny went to dinner with a boy named Josh she met at the mall.

We had all brought movies for the road so; we watch Frozen and Catching Fire. Though, I would say I like Catching Fire more than Frozen because I have loved the Hunger Games series for more years than Frozen. I love Frozen too, but it's only been out for a year. It was around 10 that Penny got back from her date.

It was the next day when we started to talk to Penny about her date. I say, "What did you do on this date?" "OMG that it was so much fun! We went to a fair and he won me a teddy bear. He's so nice!" Penny said so quickly. "What are you going to do then, if you like him so much because we are leaving in a day?" said Clara. Penny then said, "I don't know what to do because I want to stay here with him, but it's been one day so, I don't know what to do?" "I think you shouldn't stay here with him because you have only known him for a day and he could be a killer or something, you never know. This is the only time we will see each other for a very long time," says Clara. "Well, I've decide for me that I'm going to stay and I don't him very well, but I can feel that he is the one," said Penny. "That's your decision, but you can't know his the one for only one day," says Lea. Penny then said, "well, I've also decide that I'm going to go to school here and I would get to see you, Clara a lot more than going to school in ..." Clara then interrupted Penny by saying, "I like the idea of seeing you more, but you shouldn't just ruin your life for a boy." "I'm not just doing it for Josh, but for me too because I was only going to the college in Chicago because of my mom. I also want to stay because I hear they have great art department," says Penny. "Well, I'm not going to fight you so, why don't we just leave it at that. Okay? Why don't we go and find some great place to do stuff," said Clara. Penny then said "okay, I want to see the Hollywood sign." We spent the rest of the day see of the monuments.
