Part 22

Claire's POV:

"Okay, I can do this," I breathe out. I use my foot and open the door and carefully walk out. I have a large stack of folders and I can't spill any of them. I carefully walk and look past the folders to see where I'm going. I really wish someone was in the office to help me. "Claire watch out!," I hear someone yell and I trip over something. I fall forward and the folders go everywhere. "Are you fucking kidding me...," I mumble and quickly get the folders together. "I just organized all of these too." "Here, let me help you." Suga kneels down and starts picking up folders. "Thanks Suga. And thanks for the warning." "Not a problem. Why were you carrying all of these folders alone?" "No one was in the office and I thought I could do it myself." "Next time, please have someone help you." "I promise." We finish getting everything together and we get up. "I can take those." "No way, I'm helping you carry these." "Why are you so nice to me Suga?" "What are you talking about?" "Since day one, you've always been there for me for everything. Why?" "I just really care about you. So, how are things going with Mark?" 

I blush at that and he laughs. "I'm guessing good." "Thanks for the advice, I'm slowly learning and getting used to things, and he's being patient like he promised." "He better be patient with you. Or I'll kick his ass." "You don't ever have to worry about him." "So, are you going to the company party tonight?" "I want to, but Mark asked me out for tonight." "Invite him then." "Do you think the company will be okay with that? I mean, he's under a different company." "Trust me, BigHit work sometimes with JYP. They'll be fine if Mark shows up." "Well that's good then." We finally reach the office and drop off the folders. "How's that dance you two been working on?" "Oh! We're done! And I can't wait to show you guys!" "Maybe you can show us tonight at the party." "What is happening at the company party anyway?" "Just a normal company party." "I've never been to one though." "Oh right. You're still in college. Well, there's drinking, eating, some fun events. It's a surprise when we show up." "Sounds cool. What do I wear?" "Anything you really want basically." "Well I'm sure not anything." "That's true. Do you still have that one Alice dress?" "Yeah. I love that dress." "Wear that. It looks great on you." "Thanks," I smile at his compliment. 

"Well, I have to get back to work." "Yeah, I should get back to the studio." "You guys almost done with practice?" "So close. I can't wait to film this. You're first dance video of us." "Yeah, I can't wait." He grabs my hand and pulls me close. "Well, have a good day." "You too."

Suga's POV:

I watch Claire as she walks in with Mark holding her hand. Why did I have to tell her wear that dress. I groan and finish off my drink. "Claire looks great tonight," I hear Jin mumble. "I know." The top of her dress is a black corset, and then the skirt is black and blue with a Alice In Wonderland theme. She also did her hair and decided to wear her Black high tops with it. "Oddly enough, the high tops work with it." "Yeah, I know." Jin finishes his drink and groans. "I mean, at least it's just the two of us left." "And Mark." "Yeah and Mark. But it was a lot of pressure when there was five of us going after her. I think that's why I kissed her." "What do you mean?" "I just felt so much pressure and I wanted her to be mine so badly, that I kissed her. The thing is, Claire still has no idea that I like her. Even after that kiss." "Keep in mind she had a panic attack." "I just want to know why she couldn't read the signs even before the kiss." Part of me really wants to know. There's been countless times where we were all straight up flirting with her, and it's like she didn't notice. Or she just got really nervous and we would stop. And I always think back to when Nam Joon told manager she had a panic attack and he freaked out. Manager obviously knows something. 

"Suga! Jin!," Claire yells. She smiles at us and runs towards us while pulling Mark with her. "Hey guys!" "Hey guys," Mark smiles and waves a bit. "I see you brought Mark tonight," Jin says. "Yeah." "I wanted to have a just the two of us night, but this works to." "I'm sorry Mark." "It's fine, it's your company party. I can't ask you to miss it." "You're really sweet," she smiles up at him and he lightly kisses her. I hear a crush and look at Jin. He just crushed his plastic cup. "I'm going to say hi to everyone. Do you want to stay here or come with me?" "I'll stay here, get a drink." "Okay!" She kisses his cheek and runs off. "So how has it been guys? We haven't hung out in a long time." "We've been good." "Even better after we met Claire." "I get that. I've been a lot happier ever since I met her. To tell you guys the truth, I was a little worried about her living with seven guys." "Why?" "Just knowing that my girl is living with seven guys. I'm sure you guys would feel the same way if one of you were dating her, and she was living me and the guys." "That's true," Jin says. Well, I can't agree with him more on that. I would be too.
