Grace Miller had the light; the driver didn't.
Even though he knew he should have looked for pedestrians, the past can't be changed.
Grace had been hit by the car. Grace was suddenly in a coma. It wasn't supposed to happen. Nobody knew it would.
"She won't be able to do anything. Her movements are a sign that she's out of the coma," said all the doctors.
They were wrong.
