Maria's POV

So it all started with me walking home with my bestie Kaleh. We were walking back to our houses. While we see two guys, one looks cute and one looks short walking on the other side of the street of us. Kaleh noticed me staring.

"What are you looking at?" Kaleh asked in curiosity, with her face turning in a 90 degree angle.

I got startled,so I half yelled, and nearly fell flat on my butt. Then both of the guys were looking directly at us, or should I say me. I blushed in embarrassment, I probably looked redder than a tomato. I got mad at Kaleh and glared at her. Then all of a sudden Kaleh fell to the floor in laughter!

"You're looki-ha-at-the boy-haha?! Aren't you?! Do you-haha like him?"

But I couldn't get to answer when I saw them running towards us.

"Hey, are you ok? You kind of screamed."

"Ahem?! Ahem?! I'm right here! Ahem ahem cough cough! I'm on the ground ahem!" Kale have yelled.

But I ignored her, and just looked at the guy staring right back at me.

"Umm. Yea I'm fine." I said looking at my feet.

"Good. Umm. My name is Jack." he took out his hand, and I shook it. While we were shaking hands I saw Kaleh get poked with a stick by the other guy who apparently was on a penny board.

I started to chuckle. "MARIA HELP ME UP! HE KEEPS POKING THE STICK AT ME!" Kaleh yelled terrified.

Kaleh accidentally pushed Mikey's penny board, which makes him falling on his back.

"Kaleh?!" I scream.

"What happened man?" The guy asks.

"I'm so sorry!" I said

"Eh Em wrong person to say sorry to." Mikey said in an annoyed tone. Mikey looks at his white and gold G Shock and says "Jack we should really be heading home. My mom will kill me if we come home late."

We said goodbye and part ways. While we were walking, Kaleh asked, "You like that Jack guy don't you?" With a smirk.
