"so luke, um, when did you and arzaylea first meet?" michael asks his band member and luke looks over with a raised eyebrow. "you told me a few weeks ago that you don't at all want to talk about her because she was homophobic and racist." luke reminds him and michael's eyes widen.
he couldn't believe that luke had gotten with someone like that, luke had always been a reasonable guy. "it's shitty of her, but i just want to know the first time you two met." michael hums, trying not to blow his cool disguise. "in 2015, at a bar somewhere in la."
luke answers and michael sighs, "do you think you could give me like, an exact date?" he asks slowly, trying not to seem creepy but it fails. "you're being weird, mike." luke tells him and michael shakes his head. "but it was october third." luke finishes and michael squeals and lunges forwards, grabbing luke into a hug.
luke pauses in amazement and rests an arm around his back gently. michael just smiles against him before letting go and racing to where he left the watch, leaving luke dumbfounded. luke just sighed and smiled at his manic behaviour.
michael crouched down and grabbed the watch from where it sat on a speaker. with fidgety hands, he turned it back until it read the date october 3. he didn't want to have to wait overnight for this to start, so he shook it aggressively before he felt the air around him shifting uncomfortably.
it got so tight that he could barely breath, so he closed his eyes and felt a strange slipping on his body, like something had let go of him. "mike, you okay?" he hears and opens his eyes. luke, calum and ashton stood before him with curious looks. michael takes a deep breath and looks up, seeing that he has blonde hair this time.
"luke, wanna watch the conjuring tonight?" he coughs, looking to luke. the boy looked a bit different, he only had stubble and he didn't have as much a fringe as before. still handsome though.
"uh yeah, sure, i was gonna go out but whatever, cancelled." luke smiles warmly at michael and calum rolls his eyes to ashton. ashton makes a swooning action, mocking luke and calum laughs as they stand up. luke gives michael his hand and michael grabs it, standing up and smiling at him.
