New Friends

A few weeks later, Akane came back to school. "Um...hey, guys." Akane said sheepishly. Kai smiled while Kou blushed. "What's up, Akane?" Kai said, nudging Kou in the ribs. Kou glared at him and managed a tiny smile. "Sorry about what happened...back there, Kou." Akane said.

Suddenly, a girl who looked a lot like Kai burst into the room. The kids stared at her but she didn't care. "Ena! What are you doing here?!" Kai hissed running over to the girl. "Sorry, little bro. You were taking too long." Ena said then shrugged. Akane sat in Kai's seat, making small talk with Kou. "You go on ahead Ena. I'll be home later." Ena shrugged, and walked away

"Sorry, that was my older sister," Kai said, scratching the back of his head. "She's really pretty." Akane said. Kou casually put his arm at the back of Kai's chair. He tried not to blush too, when Akane noticed and blushed, looking like a tomato.

Akane then started to sing. It was a song called Drop Pop Candy and she got addicted thanks to her little sister.

Akane finished and saw that the two boys were clapping. She blushed and did a little bow, but ended up hitting her head against the table. "Ouch!" Akane screeched. Kai and Kou looked immediately concerned. "I'll take her to the nurse's office, you go on home, Kai-kun," Kou said, helping Akane up. Kai walked home and saw a familiar guy.

The guy had red hair and an 11th grader's uniform. Then he realized it was Akabane Liu, the guy his siter had a crush on. Hmm....this is interesting... Kai thought.
