Chapter 28

*Charlie's P.O.V*
I woke up the next morning and Brook was still there. I moved to picked my phone up and she woke up aswell. "Morning princess, how you feeling?" "Still feel ill" "I'll speak to mum and see if you can stay home today then" I got up and told Brook to stay in my bed for the moment till I got back. I went down to mum and explained everything she said it's fine, she'll book the day off. At least then I know my sister is safe and happy ish. I went back up to Brook and told her she can stay home with Mum but she's going to have to go back to her own room as I need to get ready for school.
I was so tempted to put joggers on today but I didn't cause my mum would moan. So I put on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, a white top and white trainers. I grabbed my phone and I had a text from Sophie 'Hey Char, wanna walk with me to school?' I replied saying yes. Oh Shit! I forgot about the dance tonight! I grabbed my suit out my wardrobe and hung it on the door. I grabbed my phone and walked down stairs. I didn't bother taking a bag today as I don't have PE and I'm getting my lunch at school so didn't really need it. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a cereal bar thing, put it in my pocket, went it say bye to Brook and said bye to Mum and walked out the door. I went to Sophie's house and knocked the door. She answered and we headed to school hand in hand.
We had English today and we were showing back out presentations on 'the mice and men'. Most boring thing we've learnt about. We went up first to get it over and done with. He gave us a grade as our school works with GCSE grades and we got a B which for me is really good. I was happy with that. Sir came over to me and whispered to me "How are you now?" "I'm alright now thanks Sir" "I'm glad, you still got your card?" "Yeah" "Alright, keep hold of it. And well done that was a very good presentation" "Thanks Sir"
English finished and we had Music and we had another assessment. We have to perform a song in front of the class which isn't to bad. I partnered up with Sophie and we decided to work on 'Hero' as we both like that song.

It got to the end of the lesson and we had been singing all lesson, people kept coming over and saying how good we sounded which was quite cool. But it break now thank god. Me and Sophie went and sat over on the field. We have like a slope bit and we sat on that and waited till our friends came over. Molly and Jack came over, as well as James, Neil, Yasmin and Milli. We were all just sat round talking which was nice. Turns out that Neil is going to the dance with Yasmin and James is going with Milli, which means tonight should be a good night.

-------Skip to end of day------
I walked Sophie home and told her I would pick her back up about 6:30 to get to the dance at 7. I don't know where the place is but my mum does so she said she would take us. I get in and go straight upstairs and jump in the shower.
