Chapter 1 - After Battle
Yuki P.O.V.
I open my eyes slowly and let out a yawn. I look around to find Kaname packing his cloths.
"What are you doing Onii- Chan?" I ask sleepily, rubbing my eyes.
"Getting ready to go back home." he said sadly, "I didn't think you would want to come with so I just decided this on my own."
"Baka. Why would you think that I would want to leave my brother and the one person from my family." I say walking over and hugging him from behind.
"How could you care about someone who has just put your life on the line?"
"Because your my brother and soulmate... I care." I say walking. Up and hugging him from behind.
"Arigatou, Yuki." he says extending his arm out to brush some hair out of my face.
He leaned his head up closer and planted a kiss on my lips for what only felt like seconds. He pulled away and sighed.
"Let's get you packed and ready then."
"Okay." I say heading through the hallway and out of the night dorm to my room.
We walked down the very long path for what feels like hours. Kaname and I talked here and there but it was just plain boring. The silence was really starting to tick me off. I looked back at Aido and saw he was getting irritated too. I slowed down and when he caught up I walked at the pace he was.
"So, how are you doing?" I ask in my hyper voice.
"Fine, Lady Yuki." he replied bowing a bit.
"Jeez! There's no need to be formal like that! Those days may be over but I'm still me!" I say putting my hands on my hips to prove my point.
"Okay... Yuki Cross." he says giving me a playing glare.
I started giggling and soon enough I was rolling. "Its soo funny to see you like that. Haha! When, haha, your so, ha, serious!"
"Am I really that funny?" he asks smirking and sending me a flirty look.
"Oh my gosh, stop, hahaha, I can't stop, haha, laughing." I say through giggles.
Kaname looks back at us like we're little kids. Well we are and we joke like that. It was just our thing no one ever understood. Even Zero kind of understood that. Knowing how grumpy he can be its actually surprising. Zero... It seems like I made the worst decision right now.
Kaname looks at me with almost hurt in his eyes and bows his head down. "Do you want to go back?"
"No." I say, "I wanted to at least see 'him' one last time before he declared that he would kill me. But I know he won't be able to." I say smiling up at my brother.
He smiles and looks down then back up. "How about he can stay with us?" he says sending me a fake smile.
I stared at him in disbelief and said, "Would that really be okay with you?"
"Yes, it's whatever makes you happy. And if seeing him makes you happy, then so be it."
I looked up at him and pulled him into a hig. "Arigatou, onii-chan!"
"I will escort her." Aido days getting on one knee and bowing.
"Thank you, Aido. I will go on ahead." Kaname said going down the path.
